I am about halfway through the course and I absolutely love it. David the instructor is extremely detail oriented. I asked what classes I needed to take and they laughed at me in a rude manner and said I needed to come in person to get help. What college refuses to help someone with classes over the phone?! I went in person one time before this and they offered me NO HELP at all and even asked "Are you done with my help now?" after barely 5 minutes of getting advising help. I have never seen this bad of an advising center that's supposed to help people. My last college advising center was always on top of things and always helped so I know this is not right at all.

Campers enjoy a mix of free time (painting, outdoor time, books, Magnatiles, doll house & dinosaurs) and more structured, project time like origami and wand-making. But it's not just limited to art. They do music play too. The staff members are warm, friendly, professional, attentive and creative! They are all trained artists with experience in early childhood care & education. It's clear they love their jobs and the campers love being there! What a treasure! And it is affordable. We are so lucky to have Magical Minds in Oak Park.

Fortunately, the Bridgeport Art Center has easy parking, since I'm coming from the Northside after work. They have sewing machines and materials along with great, knowledgeable staff. And the location is super cool to boot. Give yourself a few extra minutes to find their studio and follow the instructions they provide, the place is huge!
