Herman is without a doubt the most caring, compassionate, knowledgeable pharmacist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I live in California and my Mum lives in Sudbury, I have been to Herman's pharmacy a couple of times to pick-up things for my Mum. Herman is always concerned (and it is genuine) about how my Mum is. My Mum has told me about many times when she has had a question or concern and Herman has gone the extra mile and taken the time to explain or help in any way he can. It is hard being so far away but it sure is nice to know that for any pharmacy related issues Herman is there, they deliver to the house, gives her a particular over the counter product for what is ailing her and waves her off saying no charge have a good day. Herman won't get rich I am sure but he sure has gained some very thankful customers. If I could give Herman's Ida Pharmacy a higher rating I would but 5 stars is the limit. Herman Reich is the best of the best. No wonder his Pharmacy is about to explode from all the business he gets. He is very knowledgable and helpful. He really seems to care about his clients which is a rare thing these days. The only thing I would say is he is so busy, IMHO, I think it's time for a bigger store. I wouldn't want another outlet though as they would have to call it "Hermans not Here" and that wouldn't be a good thing. I have been dealing with Herman and his staff for over fifteen years and would not even consider going to another pharmacy even though I do not live in the area anymore. I can always count on a friendly face when going into the pharmacy be it Herman himself or one of his friendly staff, there is always a smile waiting to greet you when you walk though those doors. If there is something you need and it is not in the store he will get it in and have it delivered to your door if it is not convenient for you to return. There are very few places that have that personal touch that Herman's IDA offers. You can always count on prompt efficient service when it comes to your prescriptions and if you happen to have to wait a few minutes chances are you will know somebody in the store to catch up while you wait, of course if you are in a hurry you have the option to have it delivered and again it will be delivered with a smile. Getting this personal kind of experience has never waivered since my first visit to this pharmacy and it is for those very reason I recommend Herman's IDA to everyone I know. read more
