I started to see Dr. Kaladas in January 2009 after years of feeling ill with no help from my…read moreprevious family doctor. Dr. Kaladas gave me a thorough physical and sent me for blood work. Because of him I learned why I had been feeling so ill for all of those years. I had severe deficiencies with my Vitamin D and Iron. He got me on prescription Vitamin D and Iron and even called me on the phone to see how I was doing with the medication. Dr. Kaladas called for follow up blood work to monitor my progress. I'm happy to report that I've been feeling so much better in the short 4 months that I've been under Dr. Kaladas' care. My family has noticed that I have more energy. My Vitamin D and Iron levels have improved. I recommend this doctor. The only thing that I wish is for Dr. Kaladas to be affiliated with more than just one hospital (Somerset Medical Center). I'm not sure if she thought I was stupid or maybe she just didn't like my face, but she was extremely rude and condescending. She definitely does not ascribe to a patient-centered model of practice so if you like any say in your treatment or expect your doctor to have a conversation with you, you may want to seek services elsewhere. I promptly found another doctor, 20 minutes away, but very caring, respectful, and humble. Worth the drive!

All I needed was a basic physical exam for school, after requiring my blood work and seeing that I had no infectious or contagious diseases that should have been it, but instead she signs my physical,writes a note on the bottom of it, and never puts the doctors seal on it. Basically it got rejected at my school, and she refuses to sign properly until I get another test and vaccine not required by the school. It's one thing to suggest that I get a vaccine but to twist my arm and not properly sign my papers until then is pure coercion. I told her multiple times if I don't have this paperwork I will be suspended from school, I been trying to get this physical over with for almost a MONTH. I never seen anything like it.

One part of the staff does not talk to the other part of the staff, and will convey different things to me as the patient. Countless times - I literally cannot count - I have had a long-planned infusion canceled because the company came up with a new hurdle they decided they'd like to implement. The staff is rude, inconsistent, and just utterly incompetent. The services that *have* been delivered have always been done so on an e emergency basis - somebody literally escalates up to a high enough level that something finally gets done. I literally don't know from week to week whether my planned infusion will go forward, and this is no way for a sick person to live. Fuck this company from the bottom of my heart.

They had 2 no show initial appoints from myself and my husband because when I tried to reschedule my husbands appointment (which I made, btw) they told me he had to call because of medical privacy laws. Well, they knew nothing of his medical history since he was never seen there before, so what confidence would they be breaking by allowing me to reschedule his appointment? And then they got very snide with me. Oh well, Dr. Wang-Esptein had some unexpected down time on Friday and Monday. lol.
