We got a refurbished laptop. There were only 2 to choose from. The man who helped us showed it worked by putting it on and shutting it off. When we came home the keyboard didn't work properly, a few keys stagnated. We called the shop and he said 'ah. That must be moist, did you spoil a drink next to it?' I said I just opened it, no drinks involved. I had to bring it in for guarantee and when we came in he said 'if it is water damage you won't get restitution'. I said yes as I was sure it wasnt it. But ofcourse, after 3 weeks (!!) he said it was. That I spoiled a drink over it. This is such an easy way to get money. Would NOT recommend ever. He just sold a broken laptop. And he knew beforehand. Because when I called he immediately spike about water damage, as if he knew that was what was wrong with it all along. read more
