My (sadly expensive) beamer is damaged in less than a year, so I brought it to repair where I purchased it, Media Markt Eindhoven.
Now, this is a problem that if you plug in the beamer and press no buttons, in 10 seconds you will see it immediately. No need for interaction.
- First time, pick it up after 3 weeks, they cannot tell me what they did to my property. Arrive home, plug it in, it's in the exact same state.
- Second time, I drop it off. I receive no notification for 6 weeks. They can't tell what they did to it either time. I come over to ask what happened, they tell me they still have it there but did not notify me. I pick it up, exact same state.
- Third time I'm dropping off for the same issue (it's been two months at this point). I am told by the employee at the counter: We will try to repair it again, we have 5 days. If we are unable to, you will get a full refund.
------- After one week, I go to pick it up and am greeted rudely. I am told that this is a LIE, that the employee would not have said that. Problem here: I have witnesses. I am told that only Philips can repair it, and to take it back and suck it up. I ask for the manager, I am told he is not around.
I ask about my third repair, they only have two in record. But they still can't tell what happened to my beamer over the course of two months and a half.
I will, of course, come back tomorrow to speak to the manager.
!!! I cannot stress this enough. AVOID MEDIA MARKT EINDHOVEN and potentially any other MEDIA MARKT. Your money is spent better somewhere else. This is NOT customer service. !!! read more
