My Daughter has trained with them, first at their previous club and more recently, at the Phoenix, for over three years. The confidence and help with concentration that she has gained through this training has shown in other areas of her life such as school. A team of dedicated AMA qualified instructors run classes in the Great Yarmouth region with classes available at Great Yarmouth, Martham, Oulton Broad, Gorleston and Hopton. The classes although offering the structure and discipline required to take the students to Black Belt & beyond, offer a fun filled but respectful environment in which children can interact with adults and children of all ages. Adults are also well catered for and with some deciding to take up Karate at the same time as their children; age appears to be no barrier. The Phoenix Karate School is a member of the Amateur Martial Association, (AMA), the largest martial arts association in Great Britain, and students are given the opportunity to compete. The park includes plenty of different restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes from Porkys Pantry where you can grab yourself a bacon roll or a hot dog to The Railway Tearooms where you can enjoy afternoon tea with scones! There is an entrance fee to the park but you can leave the park and re enter at any time of the day as long as you get your hand stamped as you are leaving. Children under 1 metre tall can enter the park for free. Children between 1 metre and 1.4metres is £11.75. Children over 1.4metres and Adults is £14.00. Senior Citizens £9.50 Though you can also purchase a family ticket for 4 people for £47.00. Although you can book online and save more money if you purchase your tickets beforehand.
