Haircut took forever. She was literally afraid to wash my hair. 20 year old kids just don't get it. I've yet to find a decent hairstylist that just gets in there. The styling took 30 minutes and my bangs were never touched. Thank God I only do this twice a year. I did hair in my twenties but this generation has zero people skills. Help! read more

I just returned from ICON SALON. This is an Aveda salon. Very reasonable prices and extremely friendly staff. I saw no big egos and no snotty attitudes among a pretty large staff. And that's saying a lot for a salon. Management must be doing an excellent job! The salon has been in business for about 15 years and my stylist, Alyssa has been doing hair for about 21 years although you'd never know that as she looks so young! Very professional and easy-going salon and Alyssa gave me the best haircut I have ever had - and I'm 60! I am extremely picky with how my hair is done. She listened attentively to what has worked and what has not worked on my hair made great suggestions and I left incredibly happy. You will not be sorry and I will be going back! read more

My wife thought she would try a new salon and stylist. She called and set an appointment and was told a woman's style/cut was $55. Although she is satisfied with the cut, when she went to check out they charged $80 and simply said they did not know who would tell her $55. $25 is not a huge sum, but almost 50% more than she was told when making the appointment. read more

The best haircut I ever got was at Icon. I scheduled an appointment with a stylist named Radhika and - true story - she had no idea I was coming in for a mullet. I walked in that day after not having a haircut in a full year (thanks pandemic). I met with Radhika and casually said, "Give me your finest mullet." She giggled a little and said, "Are you serious?" and I replied, "I am dead serious. I want the world's finest mullet." She replied, "Ok then let's have some fun." And it was on. What happened next was glorious. Like an artist, she sculpted my shaggy main into a beautiful 80s haircut, perfectly coiffed for the 80s throwback party I was heading to the next night. Who knew that we would have so much fun. We laughed and giggled through the whole thing, and it was fun watching Radhika create something that no 50 year old man has asked for since the 80s. It looked ridiculously beautiful. Thank you Icon, and thank you Radhika... it was a great experience and truly pleasurable watching you create something as a stylist and an artist at the same time. By the way, I will never go anywhere else for a haircut again. I went back after the party and got a regular high n tight clean up by Radhika and she is now my lifelong stylist. read more
