After wandering around the kitchen appliance section for 10 minutes wandering around waiting for a guy helping a woman on a vacuum bag with questions that never end, i went to look for someone in another section. A manager dressed in a suit asked me what i'm looking for, and i said i wanted to buy a kitchen appliance, and he replied "but you are in the electronics section!" DUH. I told him there's no one to help me. He walks me to the guy helping the woman with the vacuum bag section and then says, "what do you mean there is no person? He is right here?" I roll my eyes because my french is not good enough to get into a stupid typical french argument with him and I wait. After another five minutes he's finally done and he gets me a ticket to pick up my appliance in less than a minute. I walk up to the cash desk to pay. As I line up, a guy comes out with my appliance, asks the guy in front of me if it's for him, he says no, he wants to do a return (american dude who speaks no french), so they do the return, and the guy with my appliance disappears into the abyss. I paid, and stood waiting for my appliance for 10 minutes. The cashier continues to call in the intercom for someone to come help. A couple comes by and wants to do a return, but of course, instead of lining up behind me like the rest of the world, they line up next to me the French way. A new guy comes and serves the couple first. After another 5 minutes, a second guy comes because of the intercom, asks what's going on and the first guy says, oh, nothing, they just needed a return. As he is about to walk away, i waved my receipt at him "HELLO??????" the guy comes and takes my appliance that's been sitting behind the counter this whole time and hands it to me. The entire 15 minutes i was waiting, the cashier could have picked it up? NAH it's not their job, even though there were two of them doing absolutely NOTHING. I wasted an hour in that stupid store just WAITING (with very little reception on the mobile phone!).

    This store stole nearly $100 from me. They took back a memory card that I was trying to return, and…read morenever refunded my money. On March 28, I purchased a memory card at this store. The price that was listed on the shelf was 29 euros. After purchasing the card and leaving the store, I realized that I had paid over 70 euros! I immediately returned and told a young man in the back of the store that the card was the incorrect price and that I needed to return it. He took the card and gave me a printed paper in french that I did not understand. I asked in french if he needed my credit card and he said no. I waited weeks for the charge to be reversed. Eventually I contacted my credit card company. Darty has contested the charge. So I paid an exorbitant price for an item that I don't even posses! ------- Ce magasin m'a volé près de 100 $. Ils ont repris une carte mémoire que j'essayais de retourner, et n'ont jamais remboursé mon argent. Le 28 mars, j'ai acheté une carte mémoire dans ce magasin. Le prix qui était sur l'étagère était de 29 euros. Après avoir acheté la carte et quitté le magasin, j'ai réalisé que j'avais payé plus de 70 euros! Je suis immédiatement revenu et j'ai dit à un jeune homme à l'arrière du magasin que la carte était le prix incorrect et que j'avais besoin de le retourner. Il a pris la carte et m'a donné un imprimé en français que je n'ai pas compris. J'ai demandé en français s'il avait besoin de ma carte de crédit et il a dit non. J'ai attendu des semaines pour que la charge soit renversée. Finalement, j'ai contacté ma compagnie de carte de crédit. Darty a contesté la charge. J'ai donc payé un prix exorbitant pour un article que je ne possède même pas! (S'il vous plaît excusez les erreurs de traduction, je fais de mon mieux mais je ne parle pas français très élégant Apparemment mon français était assez mauvais que je ne pouvais même pas faire un achat de base!)

    J'ai atteint les limites de ma patience avec Darty…read more En décembre 2023, j'ai acheté une cuisinière à induction SMEG DIVA INOX -- un produit qui s'est révélé être un échec total sur le plan technique. Depuis, Darty a envoyé un technicien chez moi à HUIT reprises. Problèmes rencontrés : thermostat défectueux, four bloqué à 100°C, porte qui ne se ferme pas, et aujourd'hui une plaque de cuisson (feu bas droit) totalement hors service. J'ai même envoyé à Darty une lettre de réclamation signée, en recommandé avec accusé de réception, en invoquant mes droits de consommateur garantis par la loi. Aucune réponse. Aucun accusé. Aucun suivi. Aujourd'hui, lors de la 8e intervention, le réparateur lui-même m'a dit : " Si ça recommence, ils envisageront peut-être un avoir. " sans aucune garantie. J'ai souscrit au contrat Darty Max, censé couvrir ce type de situation. Mais au lieu de me protéger, ce contrat m'a enfermé dans un cycle sans fin de rendez-vous ratés, d'inconfort et de promesses non tenues. Pendant ce temps, ma famille - avec deux jeunes enfants - est privée d'un four fonctionnel. Ce n'est pas un simple problème de service. C'est une dérive grave du service client, un manque total de professionnalisme et un mépris évident du consommateur. Je déconseille formellement à quiconque d'acheter chez Darty. Ils vendent des produits défectueux, ignorent les réclamations légales, et abandonnent les familles avec du matériel inutilisable. Darty : vous avez eu huit occasions de faire ce qu'il fallait. Vous avez échoué à chaque fois.

I repeat: 20 PERCENT and not 20 EUROS. So having bought the item at 100 euros, they withdraw 20 euros. If you bought an item for 1000 euros, they withdraw 200 euros for a torn box! After very tense discussions, they agree to reimburse me by card but maintaining the discount. This is what the manager told me: "We are going to make AN EFFORT, we will reimburse you by card but the discount is maintained". The manager therefore hoped that, by reciprocity, I would accept the discount. He is a pro and to say that he makes "AN EFFORT" is no accident. In short.
