RV park was 0k. All standard site services available. Price was about $46 w AAA discount. No WI-Fi that was reliable. Bathrooms and showers looked nice but were closed due to Covid. Site was under tree with fruit that fell all over my RV. Close to Leavenworth and you could walk to the resort next door called the Sleepy Lady which had a beautiful garden. They had a bar and other open services.

Very nice camp host and quiet site with privacy. They have a small store for incidentals and free coffee. Conveniently located near downtown Leavenworth. Definitely will be back for a longer stay.

The river view from the cab of our motorhome.

Don't believe the negative reviews regarding staff, everyone we met was very pleasant. Well shaded sites, grass in between, we lucked out with a nose in river front site. No permanent residents, some seasonal guests, no attitude towards people staying a few nights. Quiet, peaceful place, yes they enforce the rules, but they are all standard stuff. I would highly recommend this place to adults and people traveling with children. Yes the reservation system is old school, and somewhat difficult, but worth the effort.

There were a lot of bad reviews we were skeptical but we had a great experience. The people that worked there were very nice to us. We were in a spot with no shade it was 98 degrees and we have dogs so they were able to move us to a shaded spot. They are very experienced at directing backing vehicles into spots. They helped us re-hook up our rig. Positives: beautiful, fun town. Clean bathrooms and free shower. Laundry facility. Park is on River. Cable TV. Well maintained pretty park. No Mosquitos!!!! Negatives: Poor WiFi and we have Verizon and could only get 1 or 2 bars on our smartphones. Spaces not big, not all have fire rings. Pet area not ideal. No play area for kids. I think if you just follow park rules all is well. Best shade spots.31-39 Largest shaded 42-56 Best shaded River 99, 100 Our Fave 31-39 shade all day Note: River is loud.

This long weekend in August 2013 is our first stay at Icicle River RV Resort (IRRR). Contrary to some reviewers, I found the folks at IRRR to be very nice. At check in, the lady behind the desk was friendly enough, particularly considering that there were several RVs waiting to check in. She got us registered and directed to our site in just a few minutes. At our site another staff member was waiting to spot us as we backed our 36' coach into our site. Within a couple of minutes he had us perfectly straight on the concrete pad. When we asked if our site was available for an additional night, the office staff said that it was and handled the additional charge efficiently and courteously. Now, as to the review comments about IRRR water pressure damaging RV piping, it is pretty common knowledge that you must use a pressure reducing valve (PRV) between any city water connection and the RV. An RVer who is ignorant of this procedure has nobody to blame but himself. Now, about the facility... Beautiful grassy lawns, well maintained and watered. Bathrooms kept clean. Rules enforced to maintain an great environment. The Icicle River runs along one side of the IRRR and is beautiful. A negative is the Wi-Fi coverage in the park which is anemic to the point of being unusable depending on your location. They need additional antennas. I would not hesitate to stay at the IRRR again.

Since wifi is an issue here, how is cell service? (Verizon or T-Mobile)

Spotty on T-Mobile

Will my Dish satellite work here?

I don't know the answer to that but you could call them. They had cable and it worked awesome on our trailer.

Clean facilities| Great location to downtown…read more We rented a trailer and needed a place to stay that was not too far from amenities in Leavenworth. This was an excellent choice. This is a small little RV park and campground, but I love how the owners take excellent care of the place. One guy was always out planting and watering the plants and flowers. Another guy was literally cleaning the bathrooms several times in the day. The restrooms are nice and clean!! (Showers are available too here) The campsites are alright, but if you have preference and/or a group, I highly recommend getting the lots 31, 32, 33 area. Wow, more room, away from the main road, more trees, and a couple boulders to climb on. It looks bigger than the spot we had, which was spot 4, next to the restrooms. Firepits are very small, but we still used it to make s'mores. They also have a little enclosed basketball area. Sites 17-30 are basically next to the main road. You will hear the road noise, especially if you're camping in a tent, but I still like staying at this campground because there's not many other options for an RV park. Across the street is a gas station and Safeway. You're within a minute or two from downtown too. If you're into climbing, you're not that far from Icicle Creek climbing area either. We would stay here again with friends if we camped/rented a trailer again.

The RV resort feels tucked away in the forest, giving it a cozy and secluded vibe. The sites have water and electric hookups (no sewer), and the bathrooms and showers were spotless. Showers operate with quarters, while the restrooms are free. The restaurant was a great bonus and really added to the stay. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with hearty portions and delicious food. We loved that they also host weekly specials and events like free Bingo on Mondays, Taco Tuesday, Prime Rib Friday, and live music on Saturdays. Out back there is a spacious yard with picnic tables, yard games, and a stage for music, which makes it feel like a little community hub. There is also a gas station and convenience store next door, which came in handy for basics and propane tank refills. The location itself is perfect. It is only about 15 minutes to downtown Leavenworth's Bavarian village and very close to Lake Wenatchee State Park for outdoor adventures. A big shoutout to Vito, the host, who is very hands-on and attentive, especially in the restaurant. You can tell he takes pride in making sure guests are well taken care of. Prices were very reasonable for both the RV sites and the restaurant. The only thing I would suggest is adding a fenced-in dog run, but there are trails on the property where you can walk your dog, so it was not a big issue. Overall, this is a great spot if you want a peaceful RV stay with excellent food, fun activities, and close access to both Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee. Highly recommend!

It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. We had loop D 72-76 this year which backs up to the fence to the city park. We love it for the easy beach access. Only issue is, they do NOT close the gates at night and I have no idea why not. A party in our group had 2 electric scooters stolen from them and a charger. I understand stuff should be locked up but we've never experienced anything like that before at a campground. Two of the nights our kids were playing at the playground being kids and screaming as kids do and they were told by the person locking up the bathrooms at the City park that they had to be quiet. It was 10 PM and quiet hours at the RV park and the city park are 11 PM. He had no right to yell at our children 2 nights in a row. The last night we were there there was insanely loud Mexican music playing well after midnight in the city park parking lot. I wear earplugs when I sleep and I could still hear the music. It's ridiculous that the kids get yelled at for squealing at the playground not during quiet hours and yet there can be loud screeching tires, loud exhaust, and loud music playing well too quiet hours. Also, our site 74 had a HUGE dead spot of grass. I assume from a rug from previous camper killed it which is why they do not want rugs on the grass but it was incredibly frustrating for us as everytime someone went in and out of the trailer it drug in dirt and grit from the lack of grass. We were not a fan of that either. Wi-Fi is also not reliable if you're looking to stream or work. We did our usually waterslides trip and ropes course. You have to hit up the lakeshore drive in. Onion rings and bacon burger and shakes were on point. Another family in our group went to The Landing and got the fried rice and it was DELICIOUS!!! The icecream shop next door is legit too. Chelan RV Park please consider locking the gates to your faithful campers during quiet hours to prevent theft. We were told it's very common. Great to know...also, keep grass green and mowed. I've never seen the grass in our loop so long. We were there for 1 week and they only came behind our trailer to mow. We purposely moved our stuff so they could mow up to our trailer. Not having it mowed caused a LOT and I mean a LOT of gnat type bugs. They were EVERYWHERE. I was also surprised to find them spreading fertilizer on the grass before it was mowed and they didn't inform anyone which I thought was odd
