To be honest, I've never been an actual fan of Iceland, every time I use to go in, it was always busy, customer service was poor, quality of items poor and not very clean and tidy aisles. However, after going there a few times after a few years later, Iceland's have definitely improved. I wouldn't say I would do my weekly shopping here, but to get a few odds ends for a cheap prize, then it is worth it. There is always something for the kids or the adults, like 1 pounds for 6 chocolate icecreams, or 2 pounds for a chinese meal. It's good for the quick and easy, put in the oven meal and be done with. The store in Winchester seems clean and tidy, doesn't get too busy, which I like and service is quick. Good place to go to for your frozen or non-frozen items. read more

With all the supermarkets these days going on and on about who is the cheapest Iceland is generally missed from this advertising . I always find doing a main shop here is considerably better value than Asda or Sainsburys with a vast selection in a more comfortably sized and less hassle enviroment and with FREE home delivery if needed. The store is quite well laid out and has a wide range in a small space . By far the best choice in the city centre compared to the hussle bussle of the nearby Sainsburys . Great value £1 deals , friendly staff and generally quick service with the cashiers less robotic than those in the out of town hyper markets . A pleasant atmosphere and generally pleasant shop and I hate food shopping usually . read more
