Well it's pretty nice in here especially in comparison with the Nettos next door which is a bit dirty and the food is off.
There is a huuge range of frozen foods at decent prices, my dad shops there a lot, for the premade chinese and indian meals at £2 a time (much cheaper than the local takeaway, he makes his own rice), frozen fish at 8 pieces for £2, veg, and even fresh items and cleaning products. I can imagine it is good for families, we pop there only every few months to stock up on freezer bits but I prefer to eat fresh veg so it is more potato products and pizzas we buy there.
The quality of the food is good and I have never had a problem with it. It's great for people like my dad who just pull out whatever they fancy and it can be ready less than 15 minutes later - beef in ale, korma, chicken chow mein, the types of food he wouldn't be able to make from scratch but he enjoys the variety when it's made and easy to cook from Iceland.
I like it, I prefer Morrisons for my fresh veg, but it's good to stock up on Frozen foods. Parking is free and so are the carrier bags. Staff are nice too - I'd pop in if you're on Kirkstall Road. read more
