Really is amazing how they build this. A very unique experience that one should see once. It was coooooold .

Amazing ice castles ! This was so cool to see all the sculptures and just walking on the "shaved ice" was so satisfying. The ice castles are so much fun for a little family outing. The tickets are priced very well too for how amazing these castles are. The slide is pretty fun too haha. Really nice staff here too. Will definitely come again!

The structures and sculptures are pretty neat. They have timed entry but it was still super packed. The area is a lot small than the promo images/videos indicate. Stocked with overpriced merchandise and drinks. Only food option is a single food truck so it took almost an hour to get a couple hot chocolates. I probably wouldn't bother taking our visitors in the future since we had to drive down from Denver.

We had a great time at the ice castles! The parking was very easy as the ice castles are located right in town. The check in was very easy and quick. It was helpful to have my QR code ready to go! The ice castles were awesome to see, and there is a slide for all ages above a certain height. They also have a bar that you can purchase beverages from. My advice is to dress warm, and wear boots. I'm not sure this event was too handicap accessible so be wary of that if you need a paved sidewalk to get around. Over, great experience for all ages and I'd encourage others to go.

The ice castles are beautiful at night. There are slides, an ice throne, tunnels, sculptures, a flame thrower, and beautiful lit caverns that reminded me of the northern lights. You can expense the entire setup in 30 minutes, but if you're interested in getting good pictures, it might take longer. To maintain the flow of the crowd, your tickets are purchased for entrance within a 30-minute window. There's free parking available and hot chocolate can be bought at the entrance. It's very cold at night, so gloves and winter boots are a must. If you plan on using the slides, wear appropriate pants. The walk from the parking lot was muddy and slippery so be prepared for that as well. If we do this again, we plan on visiting it earlier in their cycle only bc my friend suspected they were a lot more melted than expected. Either, a beautiful escapist IG worthy experience.

I had always wanted to go to one of the Ice Castle events, but never made it until it came to Cripple Creek. It is a truly beautiful looking creation. Just blocks of bluish water creating walls of beautiful ice, then they add tunnels, ice sculptures, a throne - tons of stuff to investigate and experience. For the smaller kids who are willing to get down on all fours and climb through tight tunnels or climb up to the top to take the ice slide down - it it beyond fun. Me, I like exploring, but a lot was lost on me. We went during the day and it was great, but I can see how the evening would set off the ice and lights. It is freezing (you are literally in an ICE CASTLE) and parking is in a gravel lot and can get a little manic at high times (they have attendants, but that only helps so much). Cripple Creek itself seemed ill equipped to deal with the mass amount of tourists that this and Rita the troll (outside Victor) brings - every restaurant was packed with people falling out and hour + wait. So it is what it is. I think it is worth it to see it once!

This winter event was worth every minute of the three hour drive into the Rocky Mountains to see. It's in the wonderful old city of Cripple Creek. The atmosphere and ambiance is a winter dreamland. You feel like a character in the Frozen cartoons. My wife took me there on a romantic date and it was pure magic for us. The ice sculpting and the lights are stunningly beautiful. They even had ice slides that the kids seemed to really enjoy. As did I. We will certainly go back next winter as this was quite pleasant. We will do it during the Xmas season to further amplify the feel of this attraction. The staff were mostly local teenagers and they did a great job. We felt very welcome and safe.

Super cool experience if you don't bring your younger children. Our children had several meltdowns due to the cold. We had to leave early.

Wow, what an amazing place! Although the Ice Castles are now closed, I had an opportunity to check this out this past winter season. The Ice Castles are located in Cripple Creek, CO and are 100% hand-built. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a park attendant who helped direct us to our parking spot (it was seamless). There was a short line to grab our tickets and then a photo opportunity before entering. The Ice Castles feature slides, caverns, crawl tunnels, and several different sculptures. I hadn't realized this, but the whole park lights up at night! It was incredible and one of the highlights of my year so far! A couple of tips: it can get really slippery with ice, so would recommend appropriate foot attire. As you can imagine, it gets really cold (especially as the sun sets) which is something to consider with coats and gloves. I would strongly suggest coming right before sunset so you can enjoy things before and after the lights turn on!

Tiny Town. A town that is tiny!…read more I'm so glad I read the reviews first so I knew what to expect. My daughter and I arrived around 11am and we decided to have a little picnic in the back of the car, which seemed easier than trying to carry stuff through TT until we reached the picnic tables. The scenery is so pretty here, which made our little trunk picnic even more special! My daughter is 5 and was probably JUST young enough to enjoy it. We rode the train first--a short but cute ride--and then made our way through the town. She loved checking out all of the buildings, as well as seeing how they were decorated inside. So many dolls and scenes! The playground is sparse and outdated, but of course we had to spend a little time there. Our only negative experience was with the woman working the register in the gift shop. We were buying something, and my daughter picked up a little trinket that you're supposed to turn over + watch the bubbles move. Instead of just asking her to put it down (again: it's for playing with! And it was right in front of her face!) she ripped it out of her hands. While this doesn't classify as touching someone else's kid, it was close enough for me. Overall, a 4-star experience! I'm glad we took the time to go.

My daughter is three years old, and that is the demographic this place is best geared for. She was amazed by the tiny houses, and the train ride was a blast. I'm glad I was able to show her a spot from my childhood.

Seven Falls started out with a semi-short shuttle ride to the actual scenery. From there, it just got more amazing. I understand how the steps could be strenuous for many, and it definitely wasn't easy, but a little stop to catch your breath is provided about midway through. I saw a couple people who didn't feel up to finishing the steps stopping at the rest point, taking some photos, and coming back down. The views were still stunning from that height. Heck, they're stunning from any height or viewpoint. There was also a little shop with delicious popsicles located before the steps. Clean bathrooms along the way as well. It all just seemed very well-thought-out. This was also partially due to the employees, who were all very helpful and pleasant. To put it simply, Seven Falls has it all-it's beautiful, clean, and unique. Amazing in every aspect, stunning from every angle. I felt immersed in the mountainscape from the first step out of that shuttle.

Each racer got two 12 lap races, food & drink, one hour reserved seating, arcade tokens & top finishers got medals - plus all racers got to race together with a reserved time. The price was about $80 per racer. We paid separately for additional food for spectators. These go carts are electric, so no smell & pretty quiet. A few things to note, racers need to be at least 48 inches tall & if you have more than twelve racers you then split into two groups. Also, K1 has an Arrive & Drive option for just racing, it's first come first serve. The day we went was for a birthday. After checking in racers registered & signed waivers after which they got balaclavas & helmets. Instructions were given but it was rather hard to hear. Our racers had a blast...they loved it - it was a great experience. Right after racing our lunch was ready, it was served buffet style. We choose Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas, BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Wings & soft drinks. There were no salad or vegan options. The pizza was good, however the wings were even better & delicious. Since we were a big group we had a private party room. The only outside food allowed was dessert. Our party ran smoothly, the staff was friendly & very helpful. All in all a great time!

We also had trouble with our balcony door staying closed and getting it to lock. Rooms were clean though. I liked the little features like the soap being in the shape of a paw print. The lobby is huge and gives that cozy, lodge feel. They have plenty of dining options inside of the hotel. There is plenty to do besides the waterpark. During conversations with staff/supervisors (the middle aged blonde woman at the front in particular), we were verbally assured multiple times that we would receive a full refund if we chose to cancel and leave. She was very rude during the entire interaction however. We relied on those statements, left the property, never used the room overnight, and then later were told no refund had ever been promised. The conflicting information and handling of the situation was incredibly frustrating, especially for a family with children. After trying to resolve it directly, I was forced to open a dispute through my bank. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning.
