Called the store to maybe get someone's attention.... nothing. No signs up, door unlocked... but no one around. I left and thought I'd try again later after running some errands. Came back about an hour and a half later to the same thing except there was a sign on the front desk this time saying "sorry for the inconvenience we are currently busy." ?!??? Not set up to be very efficient when I was here an hour and a half ago with no help and now your busy ? I called the store probably seven times, no answer so I just said "hello" to see if anyone was in the building and just didn't hear me come in... I waited about ten minutes and two people finally popped out a room and said "can I help you?!?! " in the rudest tone. And I asked if it would be possible to purchase a giftcard ? And one of them says ...." ummm.. yea. Give me a minute." And the other says... "uhh... there's a sign up." And walks back into the room. I waited almost ten more minutes and left. I called to book a deep tissue massage for 50 minutes, with the massage you can use the pool and facilities before or after your treatment. The spa has a very relaxing vibe and was very comfortable. I arrived about 30 minutes before my appointment. I had a short wait since there was only one person at the front desk and there were helping other clients at the time. When it was my turn, I was warmly greeted and given a tour of the facility. The changing rooms are right off the main lobby area, and I was guided around the area and advised on what was available to use. I decided to change and then head to the relaxation room to await my massage. The room had flavored water and hot tea available, as well as a few packaged snacks. There were several Lounge chairs available with sheer curtains to provide some privacy. My massage therapist arrived right around my massage time and took me to my room. She was very nice and explained the process and asked if I had any areas of concern. Unfortunately the massage wasn't great, I had opted for a deep tissue massage, but not a lot of pressure was used. Sweetest girl ever so I don't want to bag on her, but if she had never done a pixie they should have put me with another stylist as they knew I wanted a pixie. She had a client waiting but finished my hair out of the kindness of her heart. I could never do hair, which is why I go get it done, so that's why I don't want to be rough with my words but if Cyndi hadn't of stepped in I was on the verge of a panic attack. Every. Single. Time. I am there the manager is rushing Cyndi. She came by and was reminding Cyndi of the time and her next client, instead of thanking Cyndi for finishing my hair. I pay a lot for those services when I go and I don't expect someone to be rushing my service every time. I got to the register and was asked how everything went. I stated not good. The girl at the counter walked away and came back explaining she could take 15% off my service. I said I don't think I should be paying for the service but that I would gladly tip Cyndi for fixing my hair. She said she would talk with her manager and give me a call. Needless to say I did not have to pay for the service but I think we can all agree that should have been a given. Get rid of your manager and give Cyndi and award and a raise and make sure you are aware of what your clients needs are and that whomever they have been assigned to can provide that service adequately. Or change your prices to match.
