Located in downtown Wellington, we were at Ibis for less than 24hours, we got in, slept, got breakfast & left. It was a decent pit-stop, not the most glamorous experience, but a nice reliable accommodation-
The room was clean, with a fantastic view of the city, offering coffee/tea selections, bottled water, fresh milk, comfy bed, pillows, and soft towels- very nice quality stay. Hot water & great water flow.
The breakfast bar was fantastic ($28pp for a full breakfast) offering a selection of fresh fruits, charcuterie, variety of cereals, variety of hot options (eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans, mushrooms, hashbrowns), variety of breads (toaster available), sweet pastries, juice bar, diy coffee nook, and a made-to-order eggs & pancake station.
Everything at breakfast was quite delicious- I made myself two large pla
tes to try a bit of everything (minus the made-to-order station).
If looking for a spot, easy to walk downtown, affordable, and reliable, I do recommend. read more
