This is exactly what I would expect from an IBIS hotel. Clean, functional, inexpensive and basic. I'm not sure there is much more to say

Premier Inn Bradford Central Hotel

We had a really good experience staying at the Bradford Central Premier Inn. The hotel was clean,…read moreservice was excellent and overall had a great stay! I'd stay here again without question and would highly recommend it! The only reason that I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because we were in a big group and there is not a lot of lobby space/space to sit and chill. This meant we weren't able to spend as much time together hanging out.

The showers were great with a whole host of body products, soft towels and hair dryers galore. the down side to the facilities was the steam room smelled of ming and left a bad taste in ones throat that water couldnt shift, it left me begging for a toothbrush and toothpaste. with minor trauma we had afternoon tea with a extra side order of extremely chunky crisp chips. my friend and i were fit to burst with this divine banquest of tea, scones pastries and cakes with tidy little finger sanwiches, this feast was heaven sent after our day of lounging. we left full to the brim and very content with our lavish adventure. I would recommend this place but smell the steam room before you dive in xx The staff were friendly and were lovely when it came to ensuring a fish and nut free banquest for my friend (thumbs up)

Whilst we were only there for one night we were made to feel very welcome and staff wanted to help us at every opportunity. The room we were given was at the reat of the hotel so a bit of a trail from the lifts but that wasn't too much of a problem for us. It was clean, and the bathroom was well stocked with towels, etc. The breakfast was just what we needed before a day wandering around nearby Leeds, they offered frully cooked items and cold selections. Only minor point was having to wait a bit too long for a pot of tea. All in all I would go back but make sure you get a good deal on the price!

They do food, I've been a couple of times for food and its been nice. Last time I went they stopped serving at 5pm which was a pain as it was tea time! The downstairs of the pub is lovely, really nice and cosy, but unfortunately they don't tend to use downstairs anymore. I think I would go more often if they did, its much less rowdy and more family friendly for food.

They stated that they knew some of rooms didn't have working AC, but our room wasn't one of them. We thought they would send someone up to check the error code, but after a while, since it was getting late, we called again. This time we were told that the manager said the AC was working. How someone who hadn't been to the room could determine if something was working, I'll never know. So we asked if we could at least get some fans to move the air around since we had opened a window. Finally someone, we assumed the night manager, brought 2 fans, looked at the AC and declared it broke, then quickly left. I went to take a shower to cool off and found dirty soap scum on the wall. Eventually the room cooled down, but because our room faced the street, it was some what noisy with the window opened and thus it wasn't the most restful night. In the morning I went to make coffee and discovered one of the spoons set out were dirty. In all, I would suggest finding other accommodations until management improves. It is quite a shame, since the room and bathroom were quite roomy and updated, plus the hotel has a nice little café, so there is so much future potential for the hotel.
Whatever pleasantries this hotel has are just on the surface. You would think that the worst thing…read morethat could happen to this hotel is that it's located in the center of Bradford. It's bad, don't get me wrong, but the actual worst part of this hotel is the way it's run. On the surface, it looks okay, but give it more than a cursory glance and there's so much wrong with it. The lobby area looks ok, but it's actually in need of a good refurb. The furniture is tatty, stained and worn. The reception staff seem polite, but they're actually inept, inefficient and outright lie to the guests. Some rooms are closed due to water leaks. Unless the hotel fills up, then hope you don't win the damp room lottery. The lifts always smell like some awful combination of alcohol, stale food and body odor. The rooms are actually reasonably clean and well-appointed, but everything else is an assault on your senses. So much noise from the hallways, from out in the street, from the reception area, from the other guests. Rotting garbage smell from outside the window and steaming curry and chips clouds wafting up when the pubs let out. It seems a lot of cheapskate groups like school trips and budget wedding parties from the area like to stay at the Jury's Inn because it's cheap. Really, they should pay people to stay in Bradford, not the other way around, so that justifies the low rates I guess. You know it's a bad hotel when you'd rather go outside and take in the pleasant surrounds of Bradford City Center than stay in your room and listen to the people in your corridor slamming doors and running up and down the hall. Another delightful bonus is the drunken serenade you get from your window between 2am and 6am. The only thing that earns this hotel even half a star or indeed my effort in writing this review is that the cleaning staff are very pleasant despite what I'm sure is an immensely challenging job in such a dirtbag place. They are always friendly and accommodating and really helped to make our stay better in any way they could. That's incredible considering they probably spend most of their time scraping vomit from drunken yobs off the carpets. At least the WiFi is good.

Hilton should remove the brand from this location. If only there had been a review here beforehand…read moreor I had looked at Foursquare (which will echo my review with one titled "The Worst Hilton in the World"), I would have stayed in a different city. Before I even arrived, they charged my card twice and wouldn't issue a credit. Once inside, there was soap scum (yellow/orange) on the title grout and mold (visible and smelling) on the shower curtain/liner so it was clear that these rooms are never really cleaned. We didn't get shampoo as part of the bathroom amenities so be sure to bring some from home. While looking for an outlet to charge my phone, I found a fairly surprising electrical wiring job for the lamp that would definitely not be to code in the States. The good news for you is that you get to read this and they won't know. When I told them about my issues and mentioned that they must not be uncommon based on the Foursquare review, I was told that they don't follow every little web site.

This is just next to the interchange so it is very convenient. There is a pub and a restaurant that isnt attached to the hotel but in the same building. The hotel is nice and clean and tidy and the staff are lovely and friendly but there isnt that many of them so they are very busy.
