There is a free shuttle outside the level 0 area of the airport. The area is shared by all kinds of transport options, but the hotel shuttles are located on the right-hand side of the airport exit, in the open air (it might be slightly difficult to find at first). The shuttle was operating in the morning and later in the day, starting again around 17h30. There was no service in the middle of the day. The Mövenpick is the first stop in the route of the shuttle, which also services other hotels (e.g. Holiday Inn). The hotel reception is located on the 8th floor, whereas the wellness (sauna, etc.) is located on the first floor. This interested invertion of things allows for the reception to share a very elegant and well designed space with the restauration area. The interior seems new and smartly luxurious. There is a self-service flat and sparkling water fountain on every floor! The room was very comfortable, with all essential amenities provided and great light settings. the curtain options allow for part to complete blockage of external light. I had no problem with noise. Excellent hotel located in the neighbouring area of the Brussels Airport (Zaventem, not Charleroi). Could have been a lot more expensive! Note: there is a city tax fee calculated per night, per person. I think it was around 11 Euros.

The hotel is lovely, clean, and spacious, and our room was quite nice with a beautiful modern bedroom and bath, and an intriguing bathroom door setup. Basically the bathroom door functions as both a door to the facilities, but can also serve as an extra door to block out hallway noise. At any rate, the hotel was very quiet and we had no problem with noise. They offer two free computers with internet access downstairs, or you can pay extra to get wifi in your rooms. They also offer a good continental breakfast for an additional charge. The breakfast was quite nice, with a big selection of breads, croissants, eggs, cheeses, and deli meats.

There is a bar in the hotel lobby but if you walk right out the doors there are plenty of places to eat and drink. It's really close to the hop on hop off bus location and the grand place. The only reason it isn't five stars is because we checked in and were given a room on the sixth floor. The elevator only goes to the fifth floor so we had to get off on the fifth floor and walk up to the sixth floor every time. After walking around all day and carrying our suitcases around - this was not fun to hear or do. The room had basic accommodations. It wasn't anything special but it worked for us. Another pro is that it is really close to the train station. You can walk there in less than five minutes.

On the way to Grand Place from the hotel are delightful shops and restaurants as well as old world architectural delights. There were also several good restaurant options within two or three minutes of the hotel for those who might not want to wander far. This establishment is located about a two- or three-minute walk from either St. Catherine's Metro Station or DeBrouckére Metro Station. It is about a ten-minute walk from Gare Central. This makes it easy and reasonably inexpensive to reach from the airport by train or by train plus subway. The personnel at this hotel were good with respect to service with a pleasant attitude. We found that our check-in and departure experiences were efficient and stress-free. Because of my Platinum status, we were given a corner room with a nice view of the urban surroundings. But more importantly, the room was spacious, clean and well kept. The WiFi worked without fail during our three-night stay. The breakfast buffet was included with our rate and provided a very good start to the day. The proximity to public transportation allowed easy access to other parts of the city. The room rates were very reasonable. For our February stay, our rate was around $125 per night. I considered this to be a very good value for what we received. We would definitely consider this place again on our next visit to Brussels.

It is located in a…read morepretty safe area- avoid near Train stations b/c that tends to be where thieves/pick pockets tend to hang out. Includes their morning continental breakfast. Design was modern and had its own charm. Hotel hallways felt a little rickety and old in my opinion- walking on wooden planks is what it felt like, loud footsteps down the hallway. Rooms were clean and bright. Staff was friendly and nice. There's a gallon of water with a hand pump to refill water. Rate was about 98-100 USDs a night even during peak holiday season (December). Not a crowded hotel. Floors are labeled 1 0 and -1 which was idiosyncratic to this place in my mind. The breakfast is on -1 floor and included milk, croissants and danishes, yogurts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, cold cuts, and nuts. Much better than any continental breakfast in the US. Hotel was overall quiet and a good place to stay for families, couples, and travelers. Only problem was the hallways was loud when you walked up and down b/c the floors were like wooden planks that had that creaky feel.

The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center/Royal Palace. Everyone working here was happy to help with whatever questions we had about the surrounding area. The man at the front counter even helped us search for good Belgian places to eat, and gave us really detailed information about Brussels, which we really appreciated. He also let us know that mussels weren't in season so it wasn't a great time to get them. Free wifi and breakfast was included with our room. The breakfast area was located on the -1 floor, which you could see from the reception floor. Being hungry travelers, me and my roommate definitely took advantage of he free breakfast. It was delicious! Buffet-style with plenty of bread, yogurt, cereal and even sandwiches. The servers were also very friendly and welcoming.

The shuttle is provided free to guests and runs every 30 minutes starting at 4am in the morning. It's an actual bus and not a van. There are racks available for luggage storage. Walking in, it's clean and smells nice. The staff was super efficient and got me checked in within a few minutes of me walking through the door. There is a restaurant on site, but I can't comment as we did not dine there. I had a queen sized bed room and it's enough for 2 people. The room has a fridge and a coffee maker. Though, I didn't try using their coffee maker because I don't know when's the last time it was cleaned out. There's a pretty big safe in the closet. The bathroom has a tub and a shower. Though, the shower itself is a little tight, but manageable. Bed was comfy, but it did get hot during the night and we set the temp all the way down, but that didn't cool the room down enough. Bathroom is big enough and not cramped at all. A couple of caveats is that this place is about 30 minutes away from the city center. You can either walk to the bus stop, take the shuttle back to the airport and take the subway or use Uber. We decided to use Uber as that comes out to about $35 vs, $11 one way using the subway and will probably take at least an hour to get to the city center. The's only 1 restaurant on site and I didn't see anything else in the area. There was no store that I was able to see. There's also public transportation right outside if you happen to miss your shuttle to the airport.
