They were very unwilling to help me repair my auto upholstery issue with a cheap fix... all I needed was a new zipper slider for the seat cover and they offered to put a whole new zipper in for $250.. I ultimately went to NLV Pick A Part, got a zipper for FREE and was able to fix it myself.. GREEDY and not helpful at all. read more

So I wasn't able to get the service I wanted Ryan is way beyond your average upholstery specialist. He has a ton of experience in wide range of problems he has to take care of. I really wanted to get upholstery change because I had sciatica problems here and there. He educated me on why from your average daily driver to all day drivers need upholstery. He did such a simple fix with just elevating my chair and made the BIGGEST difference. I'm glad we have a very kind and wise upholstery master in his craft. Well, been awhile since I had my seat covers (katzkin) installed. I got a deal from ians because they were in stock, color wasn't what I wanted but they were close to half off. The covers themselves aren't really that good, disappointed in the quality. The shop, ians did a ok job on 3 of the seats, some have wrinkles and was told they will even out. Never did. The drivers side panel was broken and cracked in several spots, and they broke the mounting tabs off and glued them back ( not very well either ) now the panel hangs there loose. I'm an old school car guy and I was referred to Ian's to rebuild my lower seat in my 22 year old Ford Super Duty after the foam bolsters wore out and the support wires gave way - typical for 200k mile truck that still has a lot of life left but I was driving in a "sink hole". Ryan was great - he knew I wanted to stay close to OEM and his explanation of repair was second nature. These guys know interiors. He educated me on what "listing wires" actually are since I spent a week searching "Dr. Google" and Amazon for the parts to fix it myself which ultimately I'm glad I left this repair to an expert. I bought the foam cushion from Ford and Ryan had it back within a couple of days better than new. I appreciate their attention to detail. The side cloth repair is not an easy match and is long discontinued by the manufacturer. Ryan added padding back under the new cloth. This is a great way to give my older Ford truck new life. I have another 20+ year old Chevy I will entrust Ian's to keep looking new. My Gen 1 Camaro dream will become reality soon and I will have Ian's upholstery take care of that as well. I had leather seats replaced more than one year ago. The plastic back of one of the seats fell off, they got me in next day, no charge. I brought my 2013 Mercedes C300 to have the drivers seat repaired. I dropped the car off around 8:30 AM and received a call at 1:30 PM that the car was ready for pickup. They were accommodating and picked up the car the next day, the seat looks brand new. The charge was reasonable and inline with a quote I had from a out of state place a year ago. I recently purchased a 2014 Aston Martin Vantage and it had a couple of dash panels with leather shrinkage/damage. I followed up with the recommendation from Aston Martin service center and took the panels to Ian's. Met Ryan there and he recommended that we should replace the leather with alcantata to avoid heat shrinkage in the future and they will look great. Ryan matched the color of the alcantara almost perfectly to the existing alcantara on the roof liner and the pillars. They promised to have it done in 2 days and delivered.
