Although the decor could use some updating, what the office lacks in looks is made up for in service and courtesy. Dr. Demyan is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable and personable and his assistant, Mary, is no less capable. What I love most about this practice is that it's truly family owned. Dr. Demyan still sees patients that his own father used to care for and the satisfaction with the care provided is totally apparent when you talk to them. Additionally, Dr. Demyan takes his time to get to know you and your dental needs and does not rush though his exams to maximize the bottom-line. On top of that, the practice is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Although they are not open on weekends, they do hold late hours on Wednesday evenings and do what they can to help make it easier for you to make an appointment. If you're looking for a caring dentist and a practice that isn't run like an impersonal corporate office, this is likely your cup of tea! They make you feel like family and give you a bright healthy smile in just under an hour!

And to top it all off, you can tell they aren't just suggesting procedures for money. They also pointed out things I had been told or "prescribed" in the past by previous dentists that has attributed to some of my current issues. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Dr. Ed was laid-back and understanding, yet at the same time, very knowledgeable and professional. The staff are friendly and even offered my girlfriend coffee first thing in the morning when she brought me to my appointment. I've had some pretty awful things done, but Dr. Ed and his team made me feel at ease and worked quickly to fix my issues. I am pretty disappointed. This dentist was referred to me by a friend who said that the primary…read moredentist (who I assume is Andrew Gruver) was amazing. I didn't see Dr. Gruver. I was told I would need an implant and an idea of the cost of that implant. After the diagnosis, I had a full examination where other areas of care were needed."Just a few fillings and a special cleaning". I clearly stated that my insurance had a maximum, that the implant would likely take all of it and asked for a treatment plan price without insurance because I knew I would be well over the maximum benefit. I was told I would get a call. When they called, they gave me pricing and was told I now needed a root canal (not included in the pricing) which wasn't mentioned in the exam. I asked that they give me the pricing per visit and I didn't get a call. I called them and was told I could pick up my pricing at the office and the total cost was almost $2000 WITHOUT the price for the root canal or the implant......I'm not even mad about the pricing......people have to eat. What I am mad about is when I did call to schedule these appointments and asked that they not do the special cleaning (saving me $600), I was told they couldn't change the treatment plan and would not do the fillings without the cleaning. When I said, if you are telling me you won't do the fillings without the cleaning, then I will have to find another dentist.......the receptionist said, "okay" and hung up on me. The whole experience really left me feeling like they were primarily interested in tacking on as much to the bill as they could with absolutely no disregard for how much a $2000 treatment plan + a $2500 root canal/post and crown + $4500 implant costs to an average person when your insurance will only cover $1500.
