I've heard this is not one of the best language centres in Copenhagen. My experience started well with an 'interview' with one of the administrators who carefully explained the 'free' Danish lessons. (He forgets I pay full taxes.) How many modules I have to pass and in what length of time and when it is possible to make breaks. After this, I got a choice of dates to start - it was overly subscribed and there was a month long wait to start. Luckily they fit me into an earlier class.
Still, when you get there for your first lesson, only half of those registered turn up. This is not the fault of the school but they could have a better system with putting people on waiting lists to join a class that is actually undersubscribed.
Teachers. They are hit and miss. They seem very disorganised and causal about the whole affair. All three (due to our main teacher not being able to make the lesson or was off ill) did not give structured teaching and were easily distracted by non-Danish language matters. One supply teacher spent half an hour to give us his life story when a fellow student politely asked how he came to be a Danish teacher.
The school is large and has a good study area and a computer room for those who don't have internet access. It also has a cheap canteen serving awful but cheap (3 DKK) coffee and tea that you serve yourself in thermos flasks. There are also sandwiches and pastries that are also reasonably priced! read more
