Santikos took over the Grand Theaters and set about ruining the movie experience. Prices are up but…read moreservice is down. You stand in a concession line, pay for what you want, get your own candy (one wonders how much they lose in theft that way), pay the high prices and are gifted with empty containers for you to fight other patrons to fill your popcorn and your drinks. No one to purchase tickets from; you either do that online and pay extra fees or the kiosk at the theater. Oh and don't purchase a daquiri because Santikos cannot price in styrofoam into the $18 price for a daquiri, so your hand will freeze. We saw Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition recently at the Johnston Street location and the theater sounded like it had one front center working speaker set to LOW volume; you could easily have conversations with people next to you, even several seats away. Total garbage, especially for a music documentary. I guess they didn't expect many people, so screw those fans because I heard sound blasting out of other theaters. Don't waste your money or your time. Movies are much better and cheaper at home with surround sound and you'll get better service.

Had a great experience for my friends birthday to see Sinners! We ordered wings, loaded fries, and…read morefunnel fries. The hot honey sauce was delicious! Fries didn't come loaded as ordered but we're still nice Seasoned quality fries. We also order drinks from the bar which were a Long Island for him and I got the blue tripic lemonade. They were amazing; right amount of liquor for an enjoyable movie night. My only complaint is how far the restrooms are- near the exit door at the front of the building. Otherwise, 10/10 would go again.

I was completely blown away at the quality of this movie theatre! There were only like three people in the theatre to watch this movie. The seats recline all the way back, and they even come with trays for those who got food. The trays are removable. You get to pick where you sit when you buy the tickets, so my friend and I got the back row in the middle. The screen was big and volume was just right. The whole theatre was clean! I didn't even smell good or even see food unless someone ordered it. I was very impressed. There is a bar out front with huge tvs, so if you didn't want to go for a movie, you could just go to watch some games. Very impressed by this theatre!

Movie Tavern Citiplace - Stake & shrimp. The shrimp would be better grilled and the greens are too crunchy for my liking.
