The vegan sandwich is made with flat, crusty thick bread with sesame seeds and packed with veggies (including sundried tomatoes and avocado) and hummus. The peanut butter protein bowl has a thick, cold base with banana slices, cacao nibs, almond slices, flaxseed, and the perfect amount of peanut butter. It's also in a nice part of Navigli with all sorts of restaurants around. I love sitting near the window and looking out at the people passing by while eating my meal. When you need a break from pasta and pizza, Frankie's is a great choice!

The free wifi offered here was incredibly helpful for this traveller - shockingly there is very little wifi in Milan. But save your password or you'll never be able to recover it. Still, a perk is that if you don't drink alcohol, you can get a smoothie! The smoothie is on the thicker side compared to what one would normally find in Milan, which is amazing! I had the Pink Freshness smoothie, and the snacks that came with it included croutons, cheese carrot sticks, and olives to dip into a cute little pot of creamy hummus. The entire aperitivo was 11.90 euros, which isn't too bad.
