I had never heard of Small Business Saturday. I was just in the area and really wanted to check out some previously bookmarked places. I wondered around the plaza and stumble into this place. I live for a thrift store. Anywhere that I can find a unique piece, I'm in love. But I saw the name and had to do a peek inside. I knew so many people that lived for the thrift/consignment shops in college - but a few have ... gotten fluffy. This was a pretty big deal to see a place catering to size 14 and bigger. I walked in and both of the owners were hard at work. One was looking over inventory and making account of who to call back. Another was calling patrons that signed up on some call list to be notified about sales. That pretty much told me the age of most clientele. I love the written word over everything. But small business charm, they get to know their patrons more closely. Several repeat customers. The inventory was okay. Just ok. Best areas seemed to be the formal dresses. I have nothing planned that needs a dress but I couldn't help myself from pulling out several things that caught my eye. The organization was great. Everything clearly laid out and priced. Prices seemed high for a few items. All but one item I reached for were $75+ but I wasn't paying attention to name brand tags - so maybe it's justified? Not bad. read more

While others have said this might not be a good place to consign your clothes - it is a good place to BUY them - or at least take a browse around to see if there is anything of interest. I found that the owners are personable and helpful, the stock is of good quality and well organized. It will save you LOTS of time and money - not having to go through an ordinary thrift store trying to find sizes that will fit! And now - of course - since we have ALL been gaining weight - you might just need a few things a size or two bigger? (Just a few, right? I consigned over 200 items in October and November 2015 I have received 135.00 to date. The items I consigned were mostly from Dillard, Nordstroms, Macy's and Lane Bryant. I did finally receive a receipt after 9 months. Miss Jackie and her daughter Kammee say they are honest and will do right by me. I met with Nancy and Betty at the shop today, they do appear to be trying to fix this place. read more

It's been SOOO aggravating to work with these people!! I turned in clothes in January 2015 and STILL haven't been paid. Haven't been notified about any updates I've tried calling for the past 2 weeks all different times of the day and NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR PHONE!!!! I live in wellington this place is 40 mins to Palm Springs! The new owner seems to be in the business of ripping people off...took in about 25 -30 beautiful suits and dress clothes (many with the tags still on) and received a receipt. That was it. For months, the owner was never available again by phone, or to write checks. Finally my husband popped in and caught her there one day. She gave him $25 cash and told him not to come back again. He asked for the unsold clothes - she gave him 1 dress. Lesson learned. read more

Took 54 items in Aug-Sept of 2016. They have told me numerous times their computer was broken. The clothes and shoes were in perfect condition. I have not received one penny. Today I am calling the BBB and whoever else I can to get these people shut down. They are thieves. read more

I recently lost a great deal of weight and had a beautiful wardrobe that no longer fit me. So, I searched the web for a consignment shop for plus size woman clothing and found I Love Plus in Lake Worth. I drove up to Lake Worth, gave them a whole wardrobe full of beautiful clothes, signed the paperwork and left. I called several weeks later asking if any of my items had sold and was told the owner would call me back. I have never received a phone call. After making a pest of myself, they told me that the check would go out the following week. Guess what? No check. So, I called again and they told me that they owed me $92.00 and would send it out the following week. To this day, I have never received a dime from them. #1. My wardrobe was worth more than $92.00. They have had my clothing for a good 3 months now. Hard to believe she has only collected $92.00 for me. And #2. I don't think they ever had any intention of paying me. If she did it to me, she is doing this to others. DO NOT SHOP THERE. DO NOT CONSIGN THERE. read more
