Why would I give my purse to a complete stranger? I left without buying anything because I don't believe in spending my money at establishments that are hostile and have discriminatory practices. Checked the rest of the tequila bottles I had bought and found another bottle without the seal. Went to the store today to exchange them for bottles with the seal. The shift manager wouldn't do anything because I have no receipt. I told her I have the credit card I used to buy the items and asked her to swipe the card so she could see everything I've bought. She stated "Oh, we can't do that our system is from the 80's." So she called her boss who wouldn't do an exchange or anything for me, and from the phone call I could tell her boss kept harping on about no receipt. To which I said its not like I'm trying to get any money or anything like that and if you could swipe my credit card like damn near every other place I shop, you'd see my previous purchases. I had just sold my old car at CarMax located down the road and my dad requested that we stop by Total Wine & More before I took him home. I decided to go inside with him because I was curious what they had here. He had his eye on a specific type of white wine and thanks to someone here that helped him out, he ended up clearing out all of its' inventory, buying at least six bottles of this specific brand. It was a Riesling white wine but I don't remember the full name of it. He and my mom now have plenty of wine to go through over the next couple of months lol. Here, I thought to myself, I should buy myself a bottle of wine as well. At my dad's suggestion and since I'm a big fan of Chardonnay and other types of white wine, I picked up a Nobilis white wine straight out of Portugal. When I traveled to Europe a couple of years ago, I did a lot of white wine tastings and this is pretty much how my white wine palate peaked. I've yet to visit Portugal, though. I haven't opened this bottle yet, but I already know that I'll like it. Although I don't really frequent Total Wine & More, they have a wide variety of wine and alcohol choices to choose from.
