Their first appointment is at noon, which was my appointment today, and when I arrived at about 11:45 the lights were mostly off. But they turned the lights on and gave me the paperwork to fill out. I was then told my massage therapist hadn't yet arrived. Hmmm, okay.... she arrived at about 12:10 and took me in right away - but I did get rather turned off by the lack of professionalism in terms of either offering me another massage therapist, keeping me updated on her whereabouts, making sure I wasn't in a rush to leave, etc. Marianne, my massage therapist, finally arrived and took me in immediately and filled with apologies. Anyway, once I was taken in, things started getting better. You leave your shoes by the waiting room, which is a nice touch - it adds to the spa like feel of the place, and minimises noise of people walking around. The rooms are lovely - well lit by candlelight, soft music playing, etc. I didn't love the fact that my body was covered with a smallish towel instead of a sheet, but once I got into the massage I forgot about it. I had booked a deep tissue massage and was a bit turned off by the light touch Marianne had at first, but she still somehow managed to get in there and loosen my muscles. At one point she pulled my shoulder blades out, which I've had done before and usually find myself gasping to not yell out, but with Marianne it just felt like a nice gentle stretch that left me feeling quite limber. I'm used to deep tissue massages being very strong and really working out my muscles, with me grunting from the pain (the good sort of pain, though!). That's not how Marianne did it - somehow, I received a deep tissue massage and managed to doze off! Afterwards she left me dozing in the room, and when I finally got up and got dressed, she met me in the waiting area with some tea and water, a stack of magazines, a blanket, and my choice of daybeds to curl up on and relax. I was told there was no rush for me to leave, and I truly felt that way. I'll be back.

I generally find a good wet shave much nicer. I was cajoled into coming here and indeed I had originally suggested it to the cajoler due to reviews and proximity. Slightly worryingly the questionnaire described what one would normally describe as 'side effects' as a 'healing reaction'. It seems complimentary therapies are continuing to be good at rebranding. The place is certainly very clean and zen full of furniture from Lom Bok (I have just moved and studied furniture stores). The staff do a good job of putting you at ease. There was quiet music, soft smells and lots of places to meditate. The lady who looked after me was very good, very professional and and concentrated on my back where I get the most pain post swimming. The price wasn't bad at £65 for 45 mins and had a nice relaxing tea at the eng just outside a small garden. If my pain had gone or Id felt better this place would get five stars but Ive yet to find that place. I think I'll continue with my shaves but certainly I'd go back if I was gifted a session.

We were absolutely exhausted from traveling and sightseeing all day, so we decided to find a place to get a nice massage. As soon as we got there, we were shortly greeted by a warm, welcoming lady. She was very sweet & made us feel right at home. She told us she was fully booked until 5:30 and it was about 3 at the time so we had a lot of time to kill. We asked if it was ok to stay inside. The lady really went above and beyond and offered to let us rest on the couch in her back room. She even gave me a charger to charge my phone! I was so touched by her hospitality. Eventually it was time for my massage. Another younger lady came into the back room and was surprised by our presence there lol. She asked us who we were and I told her I had a massage. She was so friendly and nice and she took me into one of the rooms to commence the massage. She was so attentive and always kept making sure if the pressure was okay (it was pretty hard and to be honest I struggled at times). She even answered a bunch of questions I had to help me better understand my body and my needs! After my massage, it was my friend's turn. I felt so relaxed that I went back to the couch to take a nap. I laid down and dosed off, only to be woken up again by the same lady who greeted us, as I saw her cover me with a blanket. It was so sweet and it reminded me of my mom back home. It was the best decision ever to stop by this place. I am so glad that I discovered this massage parlor and these amazing people. And despite the intensity of my deep tissue massage, I felt completely refreshed and ready to complete another walkathon. I highly recommend everyone to check this place out. Even though we only have about 2-3 more days left in London, we are definitely considering going back into this area just to revisit! We arrived there and were greeted by our massage therapists. They were very nice. However it seems like the massage can be hit or miss. While I liked my massage, my partner thought his was just okay. My massage could have been better because my therapist had to take a couple of phone calls from a client who was on his way and needed to know about parking. Although she apologized for talking on her phone, texting, and even going out of the room for a bit and also stayed a little over to finish my massage in the hour, it was still kind of annoying. Overall a solid place though and one of the best prices in town. The massage place is downstairs in the same building as a hair salon, which is what you will see first upon entering.

I went in to address some tightness that I have been experiencing as a result of a nagging cycling injury now aggravated by waking in London for two day. I did not make an appointment but dropped and rang the bell. It does not look like they are set for drop-in appointments. They did see me, but it took a while to prep while I was on the table. I explained my issue and the focus to be the lower half. However the effort was put into my shoulders despite the comments about the legs. There was a combination of standing on me (this was a new experience for me - not a fan) and forearm and elbows. There was very little hands being used. Here is the worst part. She used a menthol rub. It was so heavy and overpowering. As she rubbed my legs with this embrocation it got on the sheets. When I turned over the part of the sheet with this product got in my man parts. That was comfortable to say the least. Add insult to injury, not only did she start late she finished a little early. She really got in there with the crazy knots I was carrying and put some serious welly into cracking them up. I'm not that experienced with Thai massage and she was careful to ask how much pressure I wanted and where I preferred to be focused on most (so crucial for a masseuse to ask!)
