Dorie was kind enough to let me customize my package. We originally lost our spot we booked a year in advanced, (Emerald Bay) but Dorie did everything she could to make sure that she was able to find a spot that was still open and available so we did not lose out on the opportunity to get married since it was coming down to the wire. (2 days after we left everyone was evacuated) To chime in with people are saying in regards to Dorie and her attitude. Dorie is a professional and she is a bit older. She has been doing this a long time and she knows what she is doing and how she wants it done. Her issue is with people not listening to her, people not following the instructions they were told, people being in her personal space, and things like that. People tend to not realize that when she is taking pictures, they close in on her because they want to get the shot too and it leaves her no room to move and she has to tell people to please back up over and over. She has to remind people "this is what we are doing or this is where we are going" and after 2 or 3 times yes, the annoyance is on her face and apparent and I honestly don't blame her because it does take a long time. We arent natural models so yes, we dont always get the poses she is asking us to do or what she means and she does get frustrated, I could see she was a bit annoyed with me and my husband because we are not naturals LOL. Overall it was a wonderful experience and she did every and anything she could to make it a great day despite the natural disaster around us. I would highly recommend LOTSW to anyone.
