Most homeowners are concerned about the paint being scuffed or scratched floors, but these guys were so careful with everything! The best part, the value for work. They are so reasonably priced, it was a no brainer! I was pleased to learn they provide other services as well, and I definitely will be using them for fencing and other projects as they come up. Glad I went with them!

We hired R & L Home Solutions LLC for residential home improvement work in Knox County under a…read morewritten contract totaling approximately $15,000. The work was not completed as agreed, and the contractor ended work before the full scope was finished, requiring us to engage replacement services. During the project, property damage occurred, resulting in delays and additional repair work. Formal invoices were never provided. Despite multiple written requests, the company failed to supply itemized billing, receipts, proof of licensing, or other documentation relevant to the project. Payment demands continued while the account was in active dispute and before requested documentation was produced. Certified mail sent to the business's last known address was returned as undeliverable due to an expired forwarding order, and the company did not provide an updated service address despite repeated requests. Written requests for clarification and documentation were often unanswered or only partially addressed, and the explanations for claimed charges changed over time without supporting records. Based on our documented cost analysis, we have already paid more than the value of work completed. This review is shared to reflect our experience and to encourage others to carefully verify documentation, licensing, and billing practices before hiring.

I have never experienced such poor customer service and disrespect from a business. I had an…read moreappointment at 8:30 on Thursday (I took the morning off work to be at home). At 8:45 no one had shown up so I called the office, no response. 9:00, still no one at my home and no answer in the office; this continued until 9:45 when I finally received a return phone call from the office. When they office called they "had no idea where he was" but they would get someone to my house ASAP. At 11:30 I still had not received a phone call from the office and they had ignored several of my phone calls. They finally called at 12:30 to let me know they could send someone in the afternoon and they were very sorry. I told them someone could show up at 3:00, at 4:00 someone showed up to my house to "replace a couple of lights" when I had been very specific from the first phone call that I needed fans installed. Needless to say, I didn't get fans installed that day. But, they could come to my house at 8:30 am on Sunday. Well, it's 9:00 on Sunday and guess who hasn't shown up yet..... I have called the office and asked to speak with Mr. Hood on Thursday afternoon and the phone call has not been returned. If you need work done, I'd suggest not wasting your time with Hood's Handyman and find someone who treats their customers with respect and will show up to an appointment.

I believed that I had a problem with the floor in front of my dishwasher. I didn't know which plumber to call, but Mr. Handyman got good reviews. This company was also highly recommended by my coworkers too. I felt like Joe took his time explaining everything to me. He was very thorough while checking out my floor and dishwasher. Joe was very personable and seemed like he truly cared about my concerns. It was also was very apparent that Joe was knowledgeable about plumbing. I'm glad I chose Mr. Handyman for this job. I would highly recommend this company. The cost of the service I received and the peace of mind I have is a good value.

The electrician came and installed the exhaust fan and had stated that he didn't have any ventilation to hook up to the exhaust fan but all I needed to do it myself was to get the dryer exhaust ducting and connect it to the exhaust fan and the exterior port. After paying a significant amount for this part, he left and I went up to the attic to take measurements of how much duct I would need. However there was no exterior port cut out like he had stated. I called back and customer support wasn't any help and concluded I would need to pay an additional $250 to have this part done on top of the around $600 I had just paid. Another charge that should have already done. What out for this company!! If you do ever use them get an itemized invoice.
