The Hotel Lotti is in a superb location near the place Vendome, Tuileries Gardens, Louvre, L'Opera, rue du Faubourg Saint Honore, and the many beautiful shops, restaurants & other hotels in the 1er. arrondisement.
The tastefully decorated rooms and modern marble bathrooms are quite comfortable. The breakfast in the Il Lotti restaurant is quite satisfying before a busy day exploring Paris. There is also a bar and a terrace with different services for snacks, drinks & luncheon after your busy activities to wind down & relax.
The building itself, the lobby and public areas are quite grand and impressive.
Make sure that you book a room on the street side(s) (Rue de Castiglione, place Vendome, rue du Mont Thabor or rue St. Honore) with a balcony if possible. Use the bellman--of course--as the lobby is huge and the elevators small. Also, the rooms can be far down some quite long corridors. The courtyard facing rooms are not as grand for viewing as the streetside rooms, which are double glazed and quiet.
In the warmer months, the air conditioning is a luxury worth having as well. I stayed in June, and was grateful for it. I can only imagine what August would bring.
A four star hotel worth the location & surroundings! Truely beautiful et très jolie. '(¿) read more
