Hotel is nice and in a great location (near parks, shops, restaurants, literally right next to a subway, nightlife, Mont Royal, and historic areas great for walking around in.
We got there at the proper check-in time but they said our room wasn't ready and we had to wait about 10 minutes before we got into a room.
The room was great, with a balcony with a great view to the west. The floors were still wet from the cleaners when we got in there. The WiFi in the room was pretty spotty and somewhat slow, and annoying because you had to constantly keep reconnecting and signing in with your username and password. To access your floor from the elevator you have to swipe your card every time, somewhat of a nuisance and people kept forgetting and wound up going to the wrong floor.
Breakfast was included and was pretty good; They had yogurt, granola, juice, eggs, potatoes, sausages, sliced meat, smoked salmon, bread, bagels, cream cheese, pastries, and tea/coffee. It's served in their restaurant so it has nice seating (including an outdoor patio) you have waiters too.
In the lobby they have cold water flavoured with lemon and orange.
They weren't at all flexible on check-out time, so we had to leave some things at the front desk. Unlike most hotels they didn't have a closed-off, separate room for it, and just left it out in plain sight behind the desk. Doesn't feel very secure.
Price-wise they were a bit cheaper than some of the fancier chain hotels that are closer to the downtown core.
Overall a good experience, but definitely not quite what you'd expect if you were staying in the hotel of a school that teaches "hôtellerie". read more
