Germans have butchered the word curry there I've said it, well and truly butchered it. But my rating isn't based on my hate for this food or the germans calling it curry, its based on my experience here. I wont lie i've been to a couple of these places in Frankfurt and like the concept of the different heat levels and challenge of trying to go as hot as you can. I infact on my arrival in Germany refused to believe that Germans know what spicy food is (I still don't to be fair) and a fellow English person and I were taken here and told to order as hot as we can, we asked for the top rating of F (the scale works a-f, a being the mildest f being the hottest, past C you need to be above 18 and if you order f I believe you have to sign a waiver saying any death or injury isn't their fault... you also get a free chocolate milk) we were promptly informed they would only sell us D, we accepted thinking this will be easy, a few bites in and it wasn't bad, then the pain started, I got through half of my sausage, my mate ate all of his and threw up on the way back to the office. If you are partaking in this challenge I recommend getting the toilet roll in the freezer the night before, as the next 24 hours will put your body through some agony. But back to the Eschborn location, the queues are long, the food really isn't tasty even if you order an normally spiced version, you have to stand outside and eat. Also its really expensive for what is essentially sausage, ketchup and curry powder. I suggest walking a little bit further going to Bombay Curry for some really curry.

So you are heading out at your lunch break for some food. Good choice to go to the crepe bar. It is just a small shad with some tables and benches in the back. Quality: Pretty good food quality. Also everything is totally fresh. The also have some nice pies and cakes. So desert will be also yummy. Despite the name, the dont have crepes, because these are typically sweet. These "crepes" are a little bit thicker made of wholegrain and hearty. These crepes will have things like tomatoes, chicken breast, salad, ... on the top or inside. (Damn, just look the pictures). Individual requests to your order are fine. Prices: The prices are a little bit higher than the other snack bars around, but totally worth the quality of the food. Very reasonable prices for the food, you'll get. You'll pay 6-8 Euros for a main dish.

Williams Crepe is an easy place to lunch, although the queues can be long and during winter the seating very limited. The crepes themselves are of monster proportion and could easily be shared between two people for a cheap quick lunch as long as you can both decide on a style. My preferred crepe is the Brazil, as I need hit of chili in my food to be able to taste it or enjoy it. If you tackle one of these crepes by yourself, you will definitely be left satisfied and most likely be suffering from a case of the nap attacks. In summer, there is loads of seating- including on the roof of the building!

The downstairs is comprised of a quick lunch area where you can have food to eat in house or take away. The food, to be honest, is a little less than average in most cases, but the portion sizes are massive! You can order a half portion and still have enough to fill yourself up and then some. The menu changes often with a few staples always on it such as chili con carne and there's always a pasta dish (I advise not to get the pasta unless you happen to enjoy the taste of cardboard). They often have a nice Thai curry which with enough Sriracha sauce tastes pretty good and will provide you with a satisfying lunch for a decent price. Upstairs you have 2 options: the quick lunch menu or ordering from the steak menu. The quick lunch menu is 10 euros and you get a choice of their soup of the day or salad followed by the choice of one of 7 main courses. The soup of the day is generally really good and normally the choice I go for unless for some reason they have decided to have a mushroom soup (yuck). And the main dishes are small but always enjoyable and satisfying for lunch. I highly recommend if you have some time for lunch and want to eat in a good atmosphere taking the quick lunch option especially if it's sunny as you can sit out on the roof terrace and enjoy your meal. The Steak option is great but as always with steak in Germany- very expensive. I have been fortunate to have been taken out for a few steaks on other company's credit cards and have enjoyed them, although I will say that they are often a bit inconsistent with their serving of the steaks. They also have a ladies filet mingion and a gentleman's one. Not to be emasculated, my lunch partner and I decided that we didn't want to appear unmanly and chose the gentleman's cut. This beast of a steak was a challenge to finish and definitely left me unproductive for the day, but at least I was in a state of tasty beef induced happiness. The bar is nice but expensive. It is useful if you want to have a couple of drinks after work though or are putting on a work drinks event and you don't have to pay!
