The longest wait and the worst fish soup I have ever had !! We waited a decade finally the waiter…read morearrived. We ordered Apfelstrudel and fish soup. The vanilla is not self maded, only some vanilla ice-cream. No nuts in Apfelstrudel and the inside may not cooked properly, feel glutinous. Fish soup is NOT FRESH ! Some salty water with not fresh fish cooked together. There is no flavour but salty. After meal, we waited another decade just to check. Of course we didnt leave any tip.

And the service was about as bad as it gets. They wrote our order down wrong, and one of the dishes they wrote down wrong they forgot and then it took another 45 minutes to come after the main dishes already took 45. When we asked the waiter for the manager he kind of scurried away and mumbled. After all this they still had the audacity to charge us for every single item we got. Even the dish that took an hour and a half to get to the table. When we asked why, she gave an angry nonsensical answer. P.S we were not the only ones who experienced this disappointing service. Other families stood up and just left before they got their order.

I drive to Stralsund pretty randomly, with no plans, but it was dinnertime, and I relied on Yelp to find me a good restaurant open on a Sunday night right after New Year's, when a lot of places were still closed. Speicher 8 was well reviewed (in German; no English reviews) -- and right next to where I'd parked at the harbor. So it was an easy choice.
