    I was in the market for a new car and came across Hyundai of Brunswick's website. I saw a car that I was interested in and decided to visit them on Black Friday to see if they had any specials going on. I was greeted by Mike and he was able to show me the car I was interested in. I immediately fell in love with the car and told Mike my price budget. He assured me that they could work something out for me and in the end after some negotiating I was able to walk away with my brand new car! Mike, Linda, Cassie and the whole team at Step One Automotive Group Hyundai were polite, courteous, honest and very accomodating. Car buying can be a hassle but the team here made it a great experience for me. Thank you!

    GO ELSEWHERE. I came to this dealership 100 miles from my home because they had an offer incentive to purchase a vehicle if you traded yours in. The offer was $3000 on top of KBB value of your trade in. I submitted it two days prior to my appt scheduled and the day before. The morning of I spoke with Ashley and I asked if I was to get an email on it and she said it was in their system attached to my profile I filled out online. I came to my appt and worked with Shanda. When asked if I would be trading in I advised I'd be trading in my Tucson and I had filled out the KBB offer online. I also let her know I was preapproved through Capital One and when she was coming back in with the number sheet to see what my appraisal was on my Tucson I saw that they were going off their own appraisal and not the KBB and also didn't see the $3000 incentive. I asked about it and she proceeded to tell me I didn't tell her about it. I said that was the first thing I mentioned and was told it was attached to "my profile" from submitting my information online. She then said I only mentioned after test drive which was inaccurate as well, which made no sense since I was told I never told her. She then proceeded to go on the website on her computer and ask where it was and said it wasn't on there and I showed her my screen shots showing that it was. She then rebutted that it's only "up to $3000" and I told her it doesn't say that on the site but that's it's $3000. Nothing mentioned even in the terms about "up to". She then stated the reason was because my car had too many miles and she couldn't give me the $3000. It also did not mention anything in the terms and conditions that there was a limit on the mileage for your trade in to be eligible. I also asked before the appraisal on the car came back that nothing would be going against my credit and was told that they will do a soft pull on credit to get a credit estimate and that it's not a hard pull because "nothing has been submitted" We hadn't even started any financing yet. This was just the numbers with my trade in. Come to find out - I called Equifax - and this indeed was a HARD PULL and was told they needed to submit an Electronic Deletion Letter. So I have now called and left a message with Shanda the representative requesting this as well as my husband speaking with Megan on the phone to speak to a manager to have this removed - in which she told him that the offer and incentive on the website is a "GLITCH". I am attaching the photos to show this was on the website prior to my appointment and also AFTER my appointment of it still showing on the website. I'm upset because I drove the 100 miles for the incentive and they didn't honor it and it changed from I didn't tell them (which I did multiple times through phone to confirm what I needed to do on my end and when I first walked in to my appt) to it doesn't exist and isn't even on the website - to that the price varies and it's only UP TO $3000 - to then it's a mileage cap - to NOW being told it's a GLITCH on their website. With all that aside - I'm more upset we were told specifically that this was a soft pull and not a hard one on my credit report when I asked prior and after to confirm to find out it was a HARD pull. At this point all I want is the electronic deletion letter sent and be done with this. This was an extremely disappointing and terrible car buying experience. The least that can be done after driving all that way for an offer they refused to honor and didn't tell me until the end and ran my credit and lied about it - is to submit the deletion letter to Equifax. As of right now we're still waiting for a call back from a manager to have that rectified it is the end of the day and neither a manager or the representative have even called back to acknowledge that this will be fixed. I literally think I'm getting a sheet with the numbers for my trade in to the car factored in with a new purchase and they ran my information without my approval and didn't tell me anything they were doing. She asked me what I thought my credit score was and I told her and that was it. Day 3 and still won't call back to resolve.

    The lady at the front desk was sort of friendly…read more I had a slashed tire that I was 99% sure couldn't be patched. But doesn't hurt to ask right? So I sat there for over an hour just so they could tell me "yeah, can't be patched". Waste of my time. Then they took the plastic nozzle cap off the tire, and I had to ask for another one. Very weird. No tire rotation, nothing. Just slapped a new tire on the next time. It was super weird! Got the impression nobody wanted to be here (including me)

    I am probably writing this review and it will blow in the wind. Firestone Corporate needs to set…read morestandards! I had an early appointment at 8:30am for an oil change. I do not have anyone to give me a ride, so I let them know I would be waiting. Walking in the door, there were 3 people at the counter looking at their screens. And the garage area was blasting with Rap Music full of fowl language. Very unprofessional to say the least. I made a comment to the front desk girl about how loud the music was and she stated that is how the technicians like it and it keeps them happy. Wow! This music was very offensive. And is there no consideration for the customer, who is paying for a service and providing payment to the employees. So, I said nothing more, tolerated it and sat down in a filthy lounge area. The cleanest chair was full of food, hair and pure nastiness. After thirty minutes, I had to get on a conference call with a customer. To be courteous to other 'victims' in the waiting area, I went outside. It was even worse. There was no escaping this lovely set up. I proceeded to walk down the side of the building to go towards the back, where I could have a phone conversation. As I walked down the side of the building, it was a pleasant journey stepping over discarded trash and even a few dirty diapers. Fast forward, I had been waiting 2 1/2 hours at this point. Asked the front desk person what was going on with my car as it was just sitting the rack. Waiting a while longer. All this time I was waiting, I had ask to be told they could not remove the oil pan plug and were afraid the pan would crack. I suggested a lubricant like WD40. She laughed it off. But, guess what, google it. That is an option to attempt. Needless to say after a 4 hour stay at the most unhappy and disgusting place. I did not get an oil change. Usually the customer care expectations start at the top of the food chain. Brunswick Firestone is apparently lacking good management and no one cares about service, whether it happens or not. Firestone Corporate, you really need to take a good look at this store. BTW - This use to be my go to place. What is the world happened? Zero stars would be more appropriate.
