I decided to try 2 new interesting types of cheese that I have never tried before. They both were at fabulously affordable prices and interesting! The Trim Black Truffle Cheese at 7 dollars has a medium mushroom flavor and is good in pasta dishes. The Trim Sunny Dog Herbs & Garlic Cheese at an incredible 3.59 dollar price is very herb-y tasting and the garlic is there yes, but I think the herbs overpower the garlic taste. I find it is delicious in soups. I want to visit this store again and see what else I can find! Maybe a non spicy dill pickle cheese type? I'd love this! The manager was knowledgeable and even though she acted like she was kind of busy she still answered my questions which I appreciated.

After I had dined at Hometown Grill, I was curious about Heritage Market and decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised that the woman who had made my pork schnitzel at the former eatery came over to help me at this store. When I first walked in, it looked like a convenience store with snacks. As I walked to the back, it had a deli and baked goods. The woman helped me out with cookies. There were six in each bundle. I had a difficult time deciding if I wanted the chocolate chip or white chocolate macadamia. I went with the latter. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I thanked this woman again for her good food. She said that it was raining. It was pouring as I walked over to my vehicle. There is lots of parking in this lot. A couple of cars were parked for Hometown Grill when I left. However, while I was dining in, I did see a car pick up food from Heritage Market. I loved the white chocolate macadamia cookies. They had a ton of ingredients and weren't all that sweet. I'd like to go back and get the chocolate chip ones. Hopefully, I can avoid the downpour! (227)

I ordered the Steppe sandwich with roasted potatoes and borscht. The Steppe sandwich: the bun was soft and fresh tasting. The Ukrainian sausage had flavor without being spicy. I loved the added caramelized onions, hot mustard and sauerkraut. The roasted potatoes: hand-made and seasoned perfectly! They let me try their homemade ketchup which I thought tasted fresh! Borscht: the color was fantastic from the beets. I didn't know borscht had beets (again, not a connoisseur) but this was a great soup to balance out the sandwich and potatoes. I loved adding sour cream to it to make it more hearty too! I loved being able to see the staff make the food right in front of me. They grilled the sausage and caramelized the onions right after I ordered! Really great spot at The Forks!
