They worked within our budget and they even came to us to record. AMAZING! We worked out a price that allowed us to record for two days giving us time to focus on the 7 songs we wanted to record. We worked with Nathan and Matt(audio engineer) from start to finish. Both were extremely understanding of the sounds we were trying to achieve and made the experience very enjoyable. I will definitely be returning to Nathan Safchuk Audio for our new band releases and even new projects!

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY recording day!…read more Normally, my insecurity and perfectionism makes me HATE recording dates. This time, I shared a time slot with a girlfriend to make audition demos so we could check each other's type-A neuroses. We had to reschedule like 3 times because all the local accompanists were busy gigging High Holidays. Paul, the proprietor, was totally cool and worked with us with no pressure to commit when he knew we were scrambling. I walk in to the studio, which is small but comfortable. Nice wood paneling, not super live but definitely not dead. Great mic too, but the shining star in the room was the BEAUTIFUL Yamaha grand in flawless condition perfectly in tune. Glory, glory be, a real piano in a recording studio. You should've seen the look on our accompanist's face. Paul mixed our tracks perfectly and quickly - I walked out with my demo an hour and a half after arriving. He's super knowledgeable about both classical and jazz. Would definitely recommend him to anyone. The only flaw is that the studio has no sign, but there is a parking lot. If you're looking, its the place next to the chiropractor. . . on the same corner as the fabulous Pampas Cafe.
