Now let me get one thing straight when I did say that I was not fond of the idea of Pride at first however working the event as a volunteer and also seeing all the hard work and dedication of the people who helped put this together with the passion of the community and the sole purpose for what the event represents really brings a different angle from a behind-the-scenes perspective. I did personally get a chance to work the block party and the team of volunteers were very friendly and helpful. The Pride event who was very well supported by the local community police which in recent events is a great site to see. One of the funniest things to walk into was a horde of protesters which I walked by and continued about my business and enjoyed the festivities. One of my favorite areas was the silent disco in partnership with Astro DJs. Put on a pair of headphones and switch between a red, green or blue radio DJ and listen and dance to different music that you can only hear and everyone else can only hear through their headphones so as you are dancing along you're looking around in the crowd to figure out who is listening to the same station as you but at the same time you really don't care because it's all about the music. Some of the food vendors were okay I tried one of the tropical food trucks the service was a little bit slow and the drinks were watery. The club stage I did not get to see however it looked pretty bad from when I walked by. I did like to see all the furries. The headliner, Grand Marshal, and opening act were very entertaining and gave a great close-up view to connect with the performer. My only side comment to that would be if the performer it was open for meet and greet and photos whereas one of them was but I did not know where to find them and the other one apparently was but you had to wait and I did not know. At one point during the festival one person had fell over and face-planted into the ground but it was great to see that the emergency personnel and police staff were there within a few footsteps too quickly and professionally respond to the situation. They do have a children's area which I did not get to see however there was also a LGBT history area with a quilt honoring the history of the community. This is a good event for people to be aware of other cultures within Society whether they do or do not agree with their beliefs but the people were very friendly and supportive calling out happy Pride to those that were passing by each other in support.

I continued to listen to more songs and instantly got hooked on his music, with "Atticus, In The Dessert" being the second song I was hooked on. Then I came across his WHRO performance where he performed "Manchester" and immediately knew I had to go see him in concert. He was supposed to open up for Passion Pit at the Norva, and I rushed to go get Passion Pit tickets. Then, Passion Pit had to cancel the tour leaving me thinking that I would have to catch Kishi Bashi perform some other time. As a true musician, Kishi Bashi chose to perform at the Norva and charge $5 for those who didn't have Passion Pit tickets! He didn't have much time to set up a concert, but damn was it still an stellar performance. I have seen Kishi Bashi perform since, and every time I have been left blown away by his musical abilities. He is a one man band, where he has had The Last Bison help him out with a concert of his. Instrumentally, the man is a genius and is a master at the violin. His music is unique, and definitely different to the ears. It is labeled as "indie, folk, and pop" as the top genres on Last.FM. Please support a local artist to his rise to fame!

Instead of diving for my money, he said sticky keys were easy to fix and walked me through text messages and FaceTime to fix the issue. Would you believe that a post it fell in my piano and was the cause of the sticky keys? I felt silly - this was a YouTube issue and Kyle was kind and patient with me! The best part - it was all for FREE! I truly appreciated the extra effort Kyle gave to help me out and I will certainly come back here to get my piano tuned and/or get our piano repaired.

Discovering their business in Chesapeake was amazing news, and I was met with a quick response and prompt, flexible scheduling for a tuning in my own home. Both Michael and Kyle displayed patience, politeness, and colloquial professionalism upon arrival and during conducting their services. By each time they worked on my piano, it completely different and better every time. Their rates are fixed for the most part depending on what needs to be worked on, but all-in-all affordable for restoring the beautiful sounds of my formerly neglected instrument. NOT a fan of the zoo keepers providing buckets of bands and ladies hair clips so the kids can do…read morewith as they wish on the animals. Animals should be treated with respect - not like dolls. It may not harm them however it teaches the kids they're allowed do this with animals and the animals aren't supposed to mind it. So what if the kids try to do this to theirs or someone's dog or cat and they get bit or scratched!?? Who is going to be punished? More than likely the animal. Also... these animals are NOT supervised as I watched kids (brats is more like it) poke the poor rabbit in the eyes then poke at the chickens while the parents did absolutely nothing but smile as though it's how these animals are supposed to be treated. The rabbit was a nervous wreck (shaking) and I felt so bad for it. The ducks were left in the blazing sun (sitting in their drinking water trying to remain cool). Finally after a couple hours of roasting, the man moved the pen in the shade. And poor Moonpie, the goat, remained curled up on the ground tied to a post and appeared very unhappy, perhaps even ill. Would not even lift her head to look around. She shouldn't have been out there not feeling her best for socializing and then forced to bear the pokes and kicks by unruly kids. I truly enjoy petting zoos however they must supervise the animals and make sure they are treated with respect. If there is not enough of them to watch all the animals then provide more people or bring less animals. This made my day at this even an unpleasant one, so we left.
