I gave this one star because zero stars was not possible when we first walked in we got our food…read morethere was not a lot of options, but it was okay as we sat down. The table was dirty and had plates on it after I finished my questionable meal I realised that there was a pick and mix on the floor containing wrappers spuds and sausages then I went to the bathroom as I opened up the toilet seat I realised that there was some orange substance on the seat when I came back to the table. I ordered a sticky toffee pudding when this pudding came out. It was as cold as the Antarctic and it did not come at utensils. Come here if you want I would never come again

I had the steak sandwich (don't know the proper menu title for it), but it was simply delish. Since then I haven't been back there until a friend convinced me that they have a really good carvery as well as really good lasagne and should meet up for lunch on a Sunday. And suffice to say, both are true, and if you get half portions (small), it's really worth it as you get same amount of veg and potatoes. So all in all, if you are in the area/vicinity of Phoenix Park, don't just go to the Hole in the Wall, try Cumiskey's, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic non-touristy pub with live music and great bartenders like Carlos who make the afternoon…read morememorable. Don't just go to Temple Bar when in Dublin. In fact skip that and venture out. This is very close walking distance to Jameson, so a great after distillery experience.

Know what you're getting into before coming here…read more My girlfriend and I were jonesing for some Irish music done by the locals and were told all around town this was one of the places that has it on a regular basis. Upon entering it was pretty packed, and my girlfriend and I were searching for the live music and where the band was going to set up if indeed there was going to be live music. Now here is where it gets funny my yelp friends, when we searched the outside bar area and still couldn't find it, I went up to the bar and asked one of the bartenders when do the musicians arrive and his reply was, " they are in the corner over there playing already." The three-person band was playing very softly and in the most far-reaching left side of the bar hidden away. You could not really hear it and when I say the place was jammed pack with people near them, I am not joking, we could barely see them. I had half a beer here as my girlfriend and I weren't in the mood to stand the whole time to music we could barely hear. I appreciate that this is an old bar that people frequent, kind of reminded me of the dive bars in Philly to a degree but just know what you are in for before coming if this is the bar you ultimately choose for a night out. As always people SYOY!!!!
