Not what you usually expect from a Hyatt but pretty darn good. We were here for two days on a trip to Mayo Clinic. It is about 10-15 minutes depending upon traffic. A very cool outdoor venue, called The Block is basically across the street with food, play area and large TV screens. The Hyatt itself was very clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. There is only a grab-n-go breakfast but considering the price, who cares. Lots of restaurants are nearby. There are mostly, if not all, efficiency/extended stay rooms with a cooktop and full size refrigerator. The room was spotless despite only having maid service once a week. We did have an issue with the dishwasher not working and having dirty dishes and it was addressed. It would appear the room cleaner assumed the DW was working and turned it on not realizing it was not functioning properly, The desk person came to look at it and put in a work order while offering another room. We did not want to pack up then move and really did not need the DW so we opted to stay in the room. The price was fantastic. The bed was comfortable though the TV offerings could be better (there is available free Chromecast if we had really wanted more choices). The Wi-Fi was not the best. A very quiet area despite the venue across the way, A very basic room it is perfect for a day or up to a week stay. read more
