Most overpriced store in the entire Midwest, first of all! Then, Gen Z zoomer doesn't know how to ask us for our phone number to input points that we can save on gas. Before that, I should probably mention, a manager told me that one of his employees can make a vegetable tray for us since they only have one large, humongous, and waste of size. We arrived at your store from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We were overwhelmed by the size of your store. We needed to pick up five items for an appetizer we were planning to make for a family reunion in Marcus,IA. A young women asked if she could help us. We are two 80 year olds who must have looked bewildered. She wrote down the five items we needed and escorted us quickly throughout the store while we put the items in the cart Amazing. This would never happen in the Northeast.... ever. What a wonderful employee who went out of her way to help us. She knew where everything was in the store. She deserves a raise. Honestly, this has to be the worst HyVee in Sioux City. The place looks like someone vomited, tried to clean it up, but did a piss poor job of doing so. Also, the setup is so weird and the places where items should be are in a way different area. It also seems as though the aisles are too cramped, especially near the wine and spirits area. I looked at the employees in the meat area and they all look like crap. They don't look very clean and their beards and such are not trimmed. It's like they have no ethics or a need to want to look good, not just for themselves, but for the community. The HyVee in Hamilton Blvd is so much better and it is no wonder why they are so busy all the time. read more

When in the city this is where I go grocery shopping. They have the bread that I like. Amazing isn't it that no other Hy-Vee has it. This store is very well organized. If I have trouble finding something there is always someone to ask, and the best part is that they will take you right to it. Not like in so many other stores they just tell u which aisle it's in, bummer, cuz then you have to walk the entire aisle and still not see it. Oh well. What I really like is that I can get some coffee to sip on while shopping, and that's always nice. Three thumbs up here. But I still miss SaveMart and O'briens. read more

When driving from Missoula MT to Bellevue Ne we always stop here for the Starbucks & to get Sioux City sarsaparilla. Came in tonight with my daughter and her children shopping and had some issues with the staff one being a manager girl name Yadira. It first started with another employee working when my light had came on and said I needed manager approval for Hy-Vee water-at self check out. I stood there waiting then she finally came my direction, but then she stopped at the checkout in front of me looked at it and walked away. At this point I was calling out excuse me hello Miss can you help and had to walk towards her trying to get her attention by calling her to come back. She came over apologizing and put in her code and left. I then started the payment process and after I scanned my card it said waiting for the cashier. I had stood there for a few minutes waiting and then waited a few more as all the employees were huddled up talking amongst themselves. That's when I started to approach them saying excuse me can I get some help over here? The girl that came towards me stated to me harshly that I could've asked the other girl for help who was just over there and she swayed her arm towards the other girl that had helped with the water. I responded to her that I was just trying to get anybody to come over again to assist with their self check out machines. At that point she stopped me rudely telling me to back up back up back up and push a button just push a button rolling her eyes at me as I was actually walking backwards towards the checkout I was just at. Her tone was in a very rude and aggressive manner and I'm sure my mouth was wide open with my jaw dropped due to the disrespect that I was receiving from this person. This is when my daughter had asked for the manager. Yadira stated she was the manager. Yadira was already back by the customer service area at this time. The HyVee security guard stood there in front of the Starbucks area and the only thing that he had stated was He was not sure what's even going on here. I explain to him that apparently I should be shopping at other grocery stores. Where the staff has a little bit more common sense, manners and courtesy for their customers . Now other little comments were being said by staff as we were getting our groceries in the cart to leave. Yadira parents should be so ashamed of how their daughter represented herself as well as HyVee for having such a inexperienced employee working with the customers and being a manager on top of it. This nasty person is who you are to go to if you need assistance. I'm sorry but I rather have my family shop elsewhere if this is how we are treated. read more

Day or night, I prefer this location. The workers are unpretentious, helpful and personable, the layout makes sense and the meat counter actually looks maintained. Also, the management is competent in resolving any issues that may arise. I've seen it first hand. read more

Love this grocery store. I don't think I could complain about anything! Like they say, "A helpful smile in every aisle!" Store always seems clean and staff is always willing not just to direct you to the item you're looking for, but to take you there. I love their fresh produce and bakery items. There's a Starbucks inside and a floral dept and a separate/yet attatched liquor dept. helpful pharmacy. Everything ya need read more

We were very disappointed with Hy-Vee Catering in Le Mars. I ordered our food online two weeks prior and called the store to confirm the order two days before pick-up. However, when we went to pick-up up the food, only part of our catering order was ready. We then had to wait an extra hour for them to prepare our food. After we received our order, we went to talk to the manager. He didn't seem to know how to handle the situation, and rather than offer us a discount or refund, he gave us a coupon that anyone can cut out in a normal weekly Hy-Vee ad. The Hy-Vee food at our event was well-prepared and tasty, but we were disappointed in how disorganized the Le Mars Hy-Vee was in preparing it. read more
