I didn't understand, and said "But that's what I asked for." She replied "It's cheese, and that's vegetarian!" I did not understand her anger. I said "I'll take one". She angrily grabbed a plastic bag and cardboard container, angrily shoved the slice inside, threw the thing at me and stalked off in a huff. I looked at the cashier who saw the entire exchange. Around this location are two other convenient store gas stations. This one won out due to it being a later lunch time and sorry to say the other locations have been letting us down. Apparently hubby has had a few stops for lunch in Kwik Star. He gave me the walk through of all their options. They have a really large selection of premade salads and cold options and then a really nice selection of hot meals as well. Everything was clean and well lit. Lots of options out on display. For $9.99 we got an 8 pieces chicken tenders. Got a couple fountain drinks which consisted of black berry lemonade and an Arnold Palmer. Took our selection back out to the vehicle, We picked up a couple different sauces, but only ended up using one. Got my little fingers on a chicken tender and my jaw dropped. This one piece I picked up was no joke. She thick! As my husband devoured a couple of these monsters, I filled up on ONE! We enjoyed what we had and brought the rest home. I will not have a problem stopping at this chain in the future to try other things they have.
