Friendly smiles upon entry, plenty of carts, bathrooms near entry, clearly marked sections with big blue signs with white lettering. The grocery section has a fresh produce section as large as a regular grocery store and everything I bought was fresh. There is also a large frozen food section with an entire side of an aisle dedicated to ice cream/desserts. Only in the Midwest! The center of the store is dedicated to men's and women's clothes. I found some awesome PJs here as well as intimates for low prices. Walmart does a good job at buying and setting low prices. I found some awesome buys like men's PJ pants, women's undies, and baseball caps all at low prices under 10! The best department/experience was the Electronics. The floor manager came over and talked to me about the TVs I was looking at and helped me by explaining the difference in everyone I was looking at. Each cashier I experienced was super friendly and truly interested in knowing about my shopping experience. A+ to this store! I feel that it must be managed well to have a crew of helpful employees. I discovered this store when driving by and saw a good price on Chuck Roasts on their electronic billboard. We stopped and I bought a bunch of meat to freeze. Very good beef and pork so far. They have a in-store bakery, deli, small produce department, and a good selection of merchandise. Some prices are high, but like I said I come to stock up on sale items. Have been back several times. Plenty of free parking in front of the building. This is technically a Super Walmart as they sell typical Walmart items such as clothing, groceries and pharmacy. They also sell the typical electronics and outdoor items. When I am in town, I would come here to get my normal household items. Yes, customer service here is spotty as it's a large facility so it's tough to accommodate every customer at one time. Plenty of checkout lines during the day including self-checkout line. At night, the lines are limited. Most self checkout lines are closed at night. This causes a bottle neck especially if there is only 1 check out line to accommodate all the remaining customers. They also do have photo center if you need to get photos processed. Also sells televisions, wearable technology, toys, computers and other outdoor items. They sell anything you can think of.

Ended up calling back on another phone to get someone to pickup. Why don't your phone lines ring back to somebody after a few minutes? Why didn't SOMEBODY notice a phone line blinking forever? This one is for the cafe…read more Things aren't what they used to be. I used to go to this Cafe at the end of every work week, I used to actually invite my friends to come with me. They would look at me strangely and say " really, you want to go to Hy-Vee for breakfast" I would Rave about how good their food actually is for being a grocery store Cafe. I can safely say that not one of my friends ever left disappointed. Great food, great service, friendly atmosphere. Things aren't what they used to be. Even before the rise of prices of eggs for some unknown reason they decided to switch to the eggs you get from a carton. Very fake tasting and never really cooked that good. They went from using real mushrooms in their omelets to the cheap stuff you get in the can. They used to have very delicious sliced potatoes that would taste like heaven, but now you can only get hash browns that are very Bland. In closing, pretty sad when a cafe in a grocery store can't make your omelet with real eggs. Things aren't what they used to be. Still very friendly service. Although I don't know her name, there's a gray-haired old gal that is always smiling, always joking, and makes you feel right at home. Thank YOU for making me feel welcome.
