Excellent quick service from a husband and wife team Hy and Ann! Fair pricing and quality work keeps me coming back to repair a bunch of electronic items I had lying around. A trustworthy repair person is worth his weight in gold. They will find the most economical route to fix your stuff or if it not worth fixing they will let you know as well. Horrible customer service! I dropped tv out on Thursday and was told will get estimate Fri or latest Monday. Got no call back on either day. Called before eod Monday was told need new board and they are looking will call Tue. After not receiving a call. I went to get tv. Tv was on the floor only screws taken out noting was checked. I asked to put screws back they dropped it inside tv and took 15 mins to get it out!. Took tv home did my own diagnosis following YouTube, found two Caps were bad changed it for 2$ and now tv working like before. Don't waste your time here! I could only imagine what magical board they would have changed and big price ( they already said min $40 for work). If I can give 0 stars I would! read more

Established in 1987.

Hy-Tech Electronics is a Canadian based authorized Panasonic & Sanyo Parts Distributor and Service Centre. Just prior to a recent policy change from Panasonic, Hy-Tech was an authorized Panasonic Depot that handled all warranty and non-warranty repair and assembly of Panasonic/Matushita automotive audio and video systems for Honda, Toyota, GM, Nissan, Audi, Mazda, Subaru and Volkswagen. Even though the policy required all warranty units to be sent to the United States, Hy-Tech is still able to handle non-warranty repairs. As a Canadian based centre, Hy-Tech can provide quick and reasonable service rates and estimations of repair on that unit.

I'm telling everyone I know to get bring their broken electronics Here! It's a family owned business that used to specialized in Panasonic products (car radios, phones, tvs), but now they fix pretty much everything. I'm pretty sure it's a husband and wife team with a few technicians in the back, but regardless, they are really resourceful and nice. In terms of their repairing, I've dropped off my old stereos from the 90's, a phone I can no longer recall the battery needed, and large stand alone speakers. They were prompt, reasonably priced, and best of all, I've saved a lot of money! My brother also has no complaints. He likes to buy old stuff really cheap on craiglist or kijiji, and then repair them here. Now he has stuff that was built to last longer than what's out these days, and they're working reliably. No tricks here. It's a small place that also has random electronic goods in the front (I've seen coffee makers, rice cookers, waffle makers, microwaves, power drills) for cheap, so I come in every once in a while to see what they have. read more

A++++++ I did not have my purchase receipt for my 9 mth Panasonic Genius Inverter counter top microwave which stopped working and was told by Panasonic that warranty would not apply for lack of receipt. Found Gerry at Hy Tech and he is amazing! He spent the time the day before trouble shooting with me and was able to fix the microwave in 15 minutes! He was so helpful and knowledgable and only charged me $20 although I wanted to pay more. Take your "broken" appliances to Gerry, re-use & re-purpose. God bless you, Gerry...wish there were more tradesmen like you around. read more

My grandmother had a broken TV and wasn't able to come down to the shop and get it fixed. The lady who worked there arranged for a technician to come to her house and not only fix it but install it for her too! They are such amazing people with huge hearts !
