I'm telling everyone I know to get bring their broken electronics Here! It's a family owned business that used to specialized in Panasonic products (car radios, phones, tvs), but now they fix pretty much everything. I'm pretty sure it's a husband and wife team with a few technicians in the back, but regardless, they are really resourceful and nice.
In terms of their repairing, I've dropped off my old stereos from the 90's, a phone I can no longer recall the battery needed, and large stand alone speakers. They were prompt, reasonably priced, and best of all, I've saved a lot of money! My brother also has no complaints. He likes to buy old stuff really cheap on craiglist or kijiji, and then repair them here. Now he has stuff that was built to last longer than what's out these days, and they're working reliably. No tricks here.
It's a small place that also has random electronic goods in the front (I've seen coffee makers, rice cookers, waffle makers, microwaves, power drills) for cheap, so I come in every once in a while to see what they have. read more
