I reached out and the gals (I called a few times) I talked to were incredibly friendly and helpful! I asked all sorts of questions never having done something like this and they had the answers and were patient with me. I was also worried because all of this was happening on a Friday afternoon and I needed the transportation Sunday. I asked when they closed and the gal on the phone reassured me that they were basically 24 hours and to not worry. We got it scheduled. Jay showed up about 10 minutes early and my loved one was treated like she was a VIP. The service, professionalism, vehicle, everything was excellent! I was able to ride along to the airport and Jay did a fantastic job treating her with kindness and respect. Jay also said he would hang nearby the airport to make sure we were able to get to our gate and on the plane alright as you never know what could happen in these situations. I am so grateful for this group of amazing people and I am going to sing their praises (and certainly work with them again if the need presents itself)!!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!…read more I've had it tough with some transportation companies. But not with this one. Safeway Medical Transport has been very respectful of our time. They called us days earlier, reminding us about the ride and time of arrival. In the morning of, they called us to make sure we know they are coming and when. The driver was very courteous, opening the doors for us and asking if we needed anything. The car was clean and smelled nice. The driver dropped us off right on time, and they asked when we would get done before giving us a card with a number to call once we're finished. And indeed, when we got done, the driver was waiting there for us, promptly picking us up and driving us home. Safeway is seriously one of the best competitors for great medical transportation here in Washtenaw County. As their slogan says, they absolutely go above and beyond your expectations!

I will try inexpensive reliable city transport companies like "Peoples Express" out of Oakland County next time. I hear good things! They don't overbook, and prices are $2 each way if you stay near home... It's a bit pricier if you go further from home.
