I think they are not able to do more complex nails design only simple shellac. The employees keeps laughing and joking about the clients speaking in their own language what makes us uncomfortable. And the nails extensions are not resistant and break easily. read more

I'm so sad to write this because I have been going to Huron Nails for over two years now but I cannot foresee myself returning. There are a few reasons I've only been going to Huron Nails (and have recommended it to a lot of people). These are that it's very clean, the service is good and while it is a bit more expensive than some other salons, the trade off is that the price for what I received was always the same and it was worth it to know I could trust the nail techs for their service standards. I went for my standard appointment yesterday, I always get either bio or solar gel. My natural nails at this point are a good length and I typically don't cut them too short and other than I believe one nail extension from the previous month, I thought I was going in to get my standard refill. This service has cost me at most for the last two years $55-$65 before tip. When sitting for my appointment yesterday, the tech mentioned that she needed to do a new set for my nails, the nails on my left hand after filing off the previous set was shorter than the left so I believed she meant that I needed extensions, I continuously said I would prefer for my natural nails to just be cut short because I wasn't interested in having extensions on my entire left hand. Maybe this was a miscommunication from their end, I can't be sure but when I went up with my new short natural nails, I was told the cost was $80! I thought this HAD to be a mistake, in the two years I have been coming here, NEVER has it cost this much, so I asked if that was correct, the manager (who was also working) said it was but they could drop it to $75, so I asked if they had raised the prices recently because I still don't know how this is correct. She explained that because they replaced the set I had it was $80. The issue is, I've had this done before (again...two years lol and I only go here) and it has NEVER cost this much. I wasn't in the mood to debate it, so I paid and left but the entire situation sits very very wrong with me. I understand businesses needing to raise prices, but they said there was none and nothing was posted. I also feel robbed as a customer, doing a rough estimate, I have visited huron nails 27 times and spend an average of $65-$70 each time before tip, what happened yesterday doesn't sit well with me at all so I cannot for see myself ever returning. While it may be clean and they do good work, it's not realistic in this economy to overcharge any customers, let alone loyal ones and act like you're not. There are other options in the city to go to without leaving with the feeling in your gut that you were scammed. If they did it to me, I really worry about who else they've done this too. read more

I had my nail done a week ago. I really liked their interior and the staffs were very welcoming. However, I was not satisfied with my full new sets of nail extension with a french tip (glitter). I wanted a coffin shaped and a french tip instead of white, I went with a glitter design. It was very, very bumpy and it was poorly shaped. This was one of the worst nail experiences i ever had! before i begin i have to mention that i wanted ombré nails and went in to the salon many days prior to show a picture to confirm the price, the women at the desk told me it would be $60. firstly, i made an appointment for 6:30 on the day before my prom and i arrived on time to find that they had no appointment for me. I went back in my call history to check if i made a mistake and i did indeed make an appointment. So i then had to wait 20 minutes for them to finally take me and i tell them what i want and they tell me it's actually going to be over $70. I was very frustrated because i had really wanted ombré and now they were telling me it was more than they originally said. I decided to just get normal colour and picked 3 colours one after another and they were out of each one... since when does a nail salon not have nail polish! i finally decided on a colour, the women began and they turned out horrible! the shape was completely off, i asked for coffin and got square, and the colour that i picked looked completely different on my nail then on the example. she was rushing because they were closing soon, but they were the ones that said they had plenty of time to take me. All in all, i'm never going back to huron nails salon. I would not recommend this place to anyone! i suggest pedi n nails or all for nails! If i could rate 0 stars i would! read more

This place does a great job on nails and eyebrows. I won't trust anyone else to do my eyebrows anymore. Everyone is extremely friendly and very polite. The salon is beautiful and always well maintained. read more

First time visiting this salon. The staff was very friendly and engaging. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment on a whole. I got a pedicure and a shellac manicure. It was very relaxing and not at all rushed. Great selection of colours, it's a touch more expensive than I'm used to but worth it. read more
