About 3 months ago I was using a 16ft Werner extension ladder to do some roof repair on my house. The ladder was only about a year old. While I was on the ladder, it suddenly crumbled under me and I landed hard. I had trouble walking for a week and had severe bruising on my arm. I contacted Home Depot. Where I purchased the ladder, and they told me I needed to call Werner. To date, they have ignored 4 calls, 2 emails, Twitter, Instagram and my Facebook message to the FB company page.

We promptly returned it, they offered us a smaller model, we accepted it and returned home once again to find it was also broken!! The pull string was not even attached. The manager gave us a full refund and refused to do anything more to fix rectify the situation. After loading and unloading, picking up and returning twice, we got no where, lost out on 3 hours of our day while my husband was off and able to do it. We have faithfully rented there for 10 years!! A regional manager contacted us after my review of the location which we rented from and offered us a full day free rental. I felt like they handled it appropriately and I will continue to rent from their establishment for years to come. It's sad the store manger did not test the equipment, but at a regional level, their customer service was top notch.
