Me and my friend finally reached this place after a 10 something walk from the metro station. Our friends were seated outside but it was pleasantly warm due to the heaters they had. We were starving so we decided on a fattoush salad and grilled chicken wings. They were good, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. I tasted the mango and grape mint flavored hookahs and they were good too. I have had similarly good hookah in Virginia so it wasn't something special but was upto par at least. For anyone visiting London and missing middle-eastern cuisine, Edgeware Street is known as the 'Arab central' as there is a hookah cafe in every corner and various arab/turkish stores along the way. Come here if you miss kabobs and hookah!

This Restaurant is part of Maroush group, so it's assumed to be a very good quality place…read more I visited this place three (may be four) time and it is always in all these time a good quality food. Their Herrera soup is very good to start with, superb Basteela (with Chicken and nuts yummy), great tajeans and Cuos Cuos. They also have nice tea of course. The food will get 4/5 but it's not my favourite Moroccan food I had, that is for sure. The downside is the service of the place sometimes does not match the quality of food, I'm not saying it is so bad service, but not as good as the food. The place is not considered cheap to dine in. So that all sadly bring the overall rating of Sidi Maarouf to 3/5. And make the place an OK place.

If you've had good middle eastern food before or you've ever been to the region, you'll be somewhat disappointed. The vegetarian mezze platter was the best thing we had. Good flavors. Good balance. The Falafel was a miss for me (too much Cardamom). The Schawarma Wrap and Shish Tawook Wraps were okay and lacked flavor for me.

The staff have always looked after me (most obvs because I was like their weekly bringing a gang with me each time lol). Their food is lovely and shisha is BOOM. It's the only place where parting with my money is okay for the experience - considering how expensive one is in Central London. From Irn Bru to Skittles, they've got a crazy range of flavours and so expect this place to always be busy. The sooner you get here, the better. Oh and I went here for New Years since they held an event, I danced my socks off in the later hours at this but it was so packed, my granny self probably can't handle it anymore :D

Ever since my trip to Marrakech I have developed a new appreciation for a good tagine so having the…read morechance to visit this newly refurbished restaurant/ shisha bar was great. I went there on Saturday afternoon for dinner. We had the lamb and the kofta tagines, the kofta was amazing, the lamb was ok but felt a little bit under seasoned. As sides we got the dolma and the calamari. The dolmas melted in your mouth and were pretty good (served warm as they should be). The calamari was a bit harder to chew so as a Greek person I would rate it ok but nothing great. The side sauce the starters came with was great though. After the food we decided to try the cocktails. I had the Guilty which tasted like alcoholic dessert, so right up my street, and I also tried the fireman, good for whiskey drinkers bit not really my cup of tea. In terms of atmosphere I think the restaurant tries to be more posh than it is but the massive screens with the football on everywhere you look are incongruous with the atmosphere they are trying to create. There is also a semi- outside area for shisha which feels more Moroccan but it was full of football fans and smoke. In general I think it's good enough but maybe not as authentic as it could have been and it could do with a few more authentic Moroccan dishes in the menu.

After having stored our luggages @ Victoria Bus Station we headed for this Halal Lebanese Restaurant in London. The man that greeted us was truly magnificent with his charm, service & warmth. The cafe's ambience was excellent. We were a family of four having lunch. The food we had was very tasteful & filling. We had an excellent time & meal there. It was truly a memorable occasion. After our lunch we had to hurried our way to Heathrow to catch our flight home. The man that served us told us that the Boss of the Cafe gave us a complimentary dessert to bring along for our journey. It was really neat & sweet as we were told to wave to his Boss through the CCTV. We recommend others to try this Lebanese Cafe called Cafe Nouf in the heart of London near Victoria Station. Food were nice & lovely and the price is reasonably affordable.
