Our oldest & I were in a blind when he spotted an absolutely stunning, large Bobcat. This thing was huge and looked like a lynx. I agreed he could shoot it as we were seeing no big bucks. He was so excited. He talked me into going halves with him on the taxidermy for the cat. We were told this guy does amazing Bobcat mounts. We went in, got the tour, He seemed very professional & had a ton of work. We picked a mount type and paid in full up front, which he required. First & last time we have ever had to do that. He said it would be done in May (6 mo) and we paid extra to have it shipped. When it didn't show I started calling every month. It finally got sent in late Nov. or Dec. over a year from when we took it in! The cat's hair had been cut off in some places, the hair had slipped in several places. There is a big bump st the end of it's back that shows and the mount looks NOTHING like we ordered! Body size was much smaller. We think he must have trained a kid on it! We hung it in our cabin and everyone laughs when they walk in! Don't walk...RUN away! I took a picture with sun on head so you can see where they cut ear tip and cheek hair.
