Dr Espinoza highly recommended a Cardiac CT scan with contrast as this is the last important piece of information he needs to understand my cardiac health. He did warn me that patients with a score over 400 typically have at least one blockage. My score is 945. I had the test at Morristown Hospital on Tuesday November 30th. I was told by Morristown Hospital that Dr. Espinoza should have my results in two days, i.e. December 2nd. When I didnt hear anything I called his office on December 3rd and was told that someone will call me with the results. No call !! I called again on Monday December 6th and was told the same thing, they would leave word for someone to call me. No call!! I placed my third call on the 8th and spoke with Robin who assured me that I will receive a call by the end of the day........NO CALL !! So I made my fourth call today, the 10th to inform them that I was leaving the practice as a patient. I did once again ask for the courtesy of a call to know if I am dealing with an urgent cardiac issue. No CALL !!! I have a call into Morristown Hospital where the CT scan was performed and will find a cardiologist there. I find Dr Espinoza to be a great Dr. with a terrible support staff. I understand they are dealing with staffing issues but I was told to get this test done due to potential serious issues that may require intervention. To this day, 12 days after the test was done I don't know what lies ahead. This is inexcusable. My Mother-in-law is also a patient there. We will look at our options for a change for her as well. I've been coming to Medicor for some time. This was my first visit since pre covid. As soon as I…read morewalked into the lobby of the building, a gentleman greeted me and asked me questions (like a screening). There was hand sanitizer available for patient use. I was checked in pretty quickly and they give you the option to keep the own you used or to return it to the used/dirty own cup. I didn't wait long and was called in within minutes (then again, I had an 8am appt lol). I met with a few folks (nurse, NP, and then doc). All were extremely friendly and pleasant.
