As a teacher I asked a former NRCA teacher about it, and his words were "It is a good education, but they are not the place for black students." Despite this, we normally know how to navigate those spaces, and most teachers here are actually GREAT. However, they have a science teacher and a coach that has received several complaints for ostracizing students. It's one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an educator. I've never seen ANYTHING like it. We have spoken to administration. Other parents have spoken to administration. They head nod and continue to employ him, knowing he has actively chosen to kill the energy of the students he is called to serve. You don't have to believe me, ask about him. The responses will be the same. Parents agree but duck their heads to avoid rubbing him wrong as he takes it out on kids. I've been a teacher for 15 years and have recommended my sister remove him from this situation as I see how he has affected him. Families of players agree, but I'm okay speaking up, bc someone needs to know. Ronnie Kruger's actions are so egregious, and he alone has caused my nephew such pain, I can't believe a Christian School continues to let him behave this way and not require him to at minimum treat kids with respect and love.

We're all in! Both kids went to preschool, and now we're in the elementary school and so impressed with the teachers and staff. The staff were pretty friendly when we went to tour, but the teacher giving us the tour told us that the students were "rough" & there were a lot of "bad apples" that she wouldn't want my son to be around. She told me that the school is primarily "urban" & they come from a different life. While I appreciated her "warnings", it only turned me off of their school. Their anti-bullying policy is nonexistent, and if they have one, it's not being enforced..... AT ALL. my 10 yr old daughter was being bullied the 4th day she started. She let a teacher know and was told twice to have a seat. She came home everyday fussing about how these girls are bothering her to the point one of them sprayed something on her causing her to have an outbreak. Also, there was a teacher that kept drilling her. I have never received a negative report on my daughter, so this was new to my daughter and I. After a week straight of complaining that this teacher was saying things to her that most parents don't even say to their kids, I went to the school. If there is a constant issue with my child, why am I not being notified and why is this teacher comfortable to continuously talk down to my child daily? I requested a meeting with the teacher through the dean, the counselor, and parent relations every week for 4 weeks ...... never got a meeting. Although They all are aware of the issue. Nothing was resolved. I also contacted the same group of coordinators regarding my daughter being bullied. As I was told, they have an idea who the girls are but cannot discuss discipline actions. But there was never a follow up. I had to continuously contact the school. It got so bad, my child would beg me not to drop her off, beg me to change schools, and beg me to allow her to stay home. They never even ask my child who the girls who sprayed her were. I say this. I'm was not looking for what action were being taken, but a follow up would have been nice. After 5 weeks and no one asked my child who, what, where, when, obviously there wouldn't have been nothing to follow up on if they are not aware who is who. I could have easily called the police and pressed charges on the girls, but I blame the parents and the school.... mostly the school for hoping this will blow over. There were 3 other issues going on in addition to. Long story short, I transferred my child out of the school. Best decision I could have made. I emailed the principal (who also was aware there was an issue) about my child being transferred out. I didn't even get a response. Very unprofessional, Unethical, and all the things in their handbook they want these kids to be and agree to.. this school is NOT. They tell you one thing in your face and brush it off as soon as the parent leave. Till this day my daughter asks why. She is now in therapy working through emotional distress and anxiety from the result of these incidents. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.

We were nervous leaving our daycare of 4 years, but having dedicated teachers instead of staff with a high turnover has made a huge difference. They've taken the time to work 1:1 with him on several things we've been concerned about, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. They both show up everyday smiling, caring and eager to interact with all the kids. Outside of the immediate teachers, the entire school has created such a positive change in our daughter's life - each day includes a special course and all 5 of those teachers offer something interactive and engaging (STEM, Art, Music, PE and Spanish). The faculty is very organized, efficient and friendly. Everyone works as a team to get the kids in and out of school safely. The atmosphere at Chesterbrook is really that of a family unit. We've been so happy with our choice to enroll here :)

IPR is a highly structured curriculum, that truly prepares your child for kindergarten. The 2s students color, paint, do art projects, play outside, celebrate holidays around the world, and learn letters and numbers, daily. We are so impressed with how much my son has learned in just a few months already. We love that the students wear uniforms daily. His teachers have many years of experience teaching 2-5 year olds, and they give my son individualized attention. I could not be happier with the education my son is receiving at IPR!

My kid did not like it and didn't want to go every day and they were actually doing well. Teachers told me they put some kids in time out every day. Time out for a 2 yo is harmful. I also found it sad how many kids cried the entire first week of school and then again when they returned after winter break. It was hard to see.
