A few years ago I hurt my back at the gym, and off and on I would aggravate my back to the point…read morethat I would be near bedridden. I have been to my family doctor and physiotherapists, neither of whom requested any imaging of what was going on with my back structurally. The last time this happened was last summer, and it was by far the worst 'tweak' that happened. I just about crawled into the clinic, and Dr. Mankal understood full well the severity of pain I was in, barely able to move. I WALKED out of that clinic that day a new man. We took some X-rays, he sent me home to ice, then adjusted me a few hours later when the inflammation subsided, and my life was changed. Everything done was factual. He did a thorough assessment and created a plan to get me back to normal. After the first 3 months of treatment, he re-assessed and the proof is in the pudding, that the adjustments were working and my spine was shifted beyond belief back to where it should be than what it looked like previously. I must say that I am a believer in his methods of the adjustments and neuro-structural exercises, especially after the X-rays to find out what the root cause of my pain was and address it. I am pleased with the service, and the environment its done in as well as the cleanliness of the clinic. Best money I ever did spend on myself.

I've had a knee problem for the last few years after an unfortunate incident playing in a soccer…read moreleague. I had to take the remainder of the summer off and started seeing a physiotherapist about it. The physiotherapist diagnosed it and after about a year I saw minimal if any improvement and I wasn't sure if my injury was "healing" due to time or our treatment and decided against going back because I felt like I was wasting money and more importantly time. Fast forward to last fall and my friend told me he saw a new doctor who helped him get over some problems he was having and it went away in after some time. They also had the same problem I did with another physiotherapist and sports doctor in town. He warned me that the treatment he got was extremely painful but it did help him fully recover. I decided why not I'll give it a try. I made my first appointment and showed up to the office. The staff is super friendly and I had my assessment from Dr. Zollinger. We went over my medical history and gave me my first treatment of something called graston. This process can be VERY painful and I was unsure if I was going to go back to my next appointment. A funny thing happened though. I was able to run at a faster pace than I have been the last 2 years and the amount of pain I experienced after sports was a lot less than before. I decided I had to suck it up and continue on. 4 months later, Dr Zollinger has been able to work out the lump that was in my knee which was scar tissue and figure out all the other minor side effects due to not having it treated properly from the start. I'm currently in the strengthening phase in my knee now and in the last month I've only felt pain in my knee once which was due to me slipping funny and having my knee shift. I still ice my knee as precautionary measures after each game when I remember but the last 2 games I haven't and I didn't feel any problems the next day. I will do one more appointment with Dr Zollinger at which point my knee should be 95% better than it's been in the last 2 years. Thank you very much Dr Zollinger for all your help in letting me get back to my active lifestyle! I'd recommend him to anyone! He specializes in chiropractic services but has studied other things. The great thing is I never used a chiropractor so if you are covered by insurance it will come off that rather than physio if you need it.
