When the tow truck lady got there she did a GREAT job. Very friendly and knowledgeable, however, she is the only positive thing about this business. She suggested that we have our brakes checked and I drove to their business. The mechanic took off my tires and within 10 min said I needed new brake pads, rotors, and calipers with a quote of $2500.00. I told them I was going to get a second opinion and Wes, tried to give me the song and dance that they were only business open that could do it. I told him I was willing to risk it, since my brakes seemed fine, the rotors were not warped. He made me sign this waiver of liability and then charged me $142 for their time. So I drove down to Big O tires and had them look at it. They drove it and removed the tires to inspect the brakes. They told me that, yes, they got hot but I was in need of NO repairs and they didn't charge me a penny to tell me this. This is the worst scam in town and I cannot believe they are still in business.

It's Labor Day. I'm halfway through a six hour return trip from the Tetons with the wife, two…read morefighting kids and four month old mutt. Thinking that I'm making great time, my luck starts to turn when I blow out a tire. OK, small problem - I've got a doughnut spare that might get me the 160 remaining miles home if I drive real slow. I swap on the spare and am on my merry way when ten minutes later a second tire blows. OK, bigger problem - I'm in the middle of no-where with no cell reception and every place of business closed for the holiday. We see a farm house down the road and decide to seek some help. As luck would have it, the owner of Bear Lake Car Care lives here! Bob and his wife graciously invited us in their home (me and the wife, two fighting kids and our yet to be house-broken mutt). They entertained and took care of us for several hours in their home while we waited for two tires to be delivered from Salt Lake (my car has very unique tires). It was around 11pm before Bob could finally put the new tires on. He went out of his way, giving up his day off (and night) to make sure we were taken care of. On top of all that he tried to refuse payment. I can't imagine any better service and would highly recommend Bare Lake Car Care to everyone.
