Had takeout (or takeaway as they call it here), it was all tasty and not westernized (normally would have said Americanized, but I don't know if they do it in the UK like they do in the US). Not for the dinner menu at least as far as I'm concerned. And being Asian myself, I find that a bit odd since we eat so much rice and the name itself is rice republic. Hence, the 4 stars. Now, let's get down to the good part. The food is amazing! Coming froma city that is literally a food haven, Los Angeles, I can honestly say that this place is fire! I would even go as far as they are perhaps one of the best tasting Asian spot in London (and trust me, I've been to a lot)! The steamed buns are great, and the dishes are full of flavors. They have quite a few selection of beverages as well be it beer, wine, or cocktails. Although a bit pricey, I would say it's so worth it. A definite must try when you're in Streatham!
